Classic design. Often imitated, never duplicated.
I've owned at least six pairs over my lifetime. Great for wet, muddy weather. They hold up well. My last pair was worn over 100 times walking the dog through the woods at approximately four miles per time. That's over 1,000,000 flexes for the rubber bottoms. They were approximately 1/2 worn out and began to separate at the rubber/leather joint. I am having them resoled.

Rubbing ball joints
Very good boot to keep your feet dry. But the stitching at the rubber and leather will rug on your ball joint causing blisters

Seem like decent year-round boots so far
Seems waterproof so far — we had a nasty snow/rain storm and I was shoveling in about an inch or more of water. These held up nicely, hoping to get many years of use! I got the uninsulated ones for year-round use and I was a bit worried they wouldn’t be warm enough in winter, but even in 20 degree weather and normal socks they are solid. As long as they hold up the way Bean Boots should, I’ll be very happy.
