Just bought another pair
At first I thought that the shoes would be uncomfortable, but I adjusted the stretchy straps after putting the shoes on. Takes a little effort, but worth the time. I can wear thin cotton socks with these shoes, then heavy wool socks for winter. I have fairly flat feet, but these shoes are ok with minimal arch support. I have thick ankles, so these shoes work for me. No pinching toes. And actually, I did size down a half size, from a 9 to an 8 1/2. A good sale price.

With a Tweak, They Are Great
I bought these for travel. The integral insole gave almost no cushioning or support. BUT!!! There was plenty of room to insert a pair of active sport insoles. They made all the difference in the world. The shoes were fantastic. The seam edges look a bit ragged in a way, but these are casual shoes and have become one of my favorite "go to" pairs. I wore them a lot in warmer weather and they held up well. I like the little slide toggles on the ends of the laces: they make for easy adjustment. I got the dark blue ones in my regular size. Great fit. There is ample toe room in the height and width even with the insoles I added. The shoes are very flexible so they were comfortable from the get go. I keep thinking about getting a second pair, but the ones I have look and feel new after months of wearing.
