Great performance and value
This was all it was described. Great quality, good fit and very warm. Lots of pockets. Performs really well in the cold and wind. The only down-sides are the main zipper tab seems a bit undersized for a ski jacket. A little difficult to get the zipper started with gloves on. The hood takes some fiddling to get the drawstrings and the wire frame to fit your head. Well worth the price.

Love Letter to LL bean
Took it to the mountain for first ski trip and was stress testing this jacket to the max! Held up under whiteout conditions and sub zero temps with ease. Paired with the bobcat bib, merino wool base layers, wool socks, ski gloves, and skull cap, my whole day was perfect. Thank you L.L. Bean

I have had this jacket for over a month now and I am very pleased with it. Kept me warm when the temperature dropped below freezing.

Awesome all around winter coat
I purchased this jacket a few months ago, and our Northeast winter has put it to the test with plenty of cold and snow! From snow shoveling to vacationing up north, this jacket has kept me warm and comfortable in some pretty extreme conditions.

Nice warm, wind proof jacket, but that HOOD!
I bought this less than a year ago at the Freeport flagship store. The jacket does not feel bulky and keeps me warm and dry, even in windy and snowy conditions. However, I also wear this as a winter jacket as a ski patroller under my patrol vest, and was disappointed to discover that the permanently attached hood feels quite oversized: When the hood is fully pulled over my head, it seems to overhang the front of my forehead so much that it actually reduces my upper field of vision. I have to keep pulling the hood back or bend my head back to see.
