Exactly the same after all these years!
My first stowaway back pack finally fell apart after 15 years of filling it with groceries and gym clothes and shoes…..shocked at price but decided I would get another. It is exactly the same. I love it but it is the ugliest red I have ever seen! Wish I could dye it!

Sturdy comfortable pack for day travel or weekend getaway. Top zipper closure to secure items. Two side pockets and my favorite open outside pouch for quick storage with easy retrieval. Zippered pockets inside and outside. My #1 choice for my everyday trail walks in any season!

Used to be made much better. Quality control .
I have used this design for over 15 yrs. The past 2 bags both had the same issues with crappy cheap stitching. Lasted about a yr or under. Went to 2 LL bean stores one did not have a replacement and by the time I got to the other store a few months later no more switch out option. They both agreed the stiching on the inner pockets is not quality.
