Lightweight but low cut
There's nothing wrong with this garment, but it isn't what I thought it would be. I thought it would fit like my other reliable LLBean tank tops, only be a little dressier under a suit jacket, as it specifically meant for layering. It is cut too deeply in the armpits, so that I can't take a jacket/sweater off. Even the neckline is too deep. I'll keep it for an undershirt.

Love it!
Perfect tank for gardening out in the summer sun and heat. I love that it is not see-thru, like so many white shirts are.

Comfortable Tank
Very comfortable - not too tight. Great for layering or wearing along

Good for layering
Washes and dries well. Since the seams are rough (not taped down) on the inside, I wear this shirt inside out, under another shirt. Where it shows in front, the neckline looks nice.

Still good, but -
Just ordered and the fabric is not as substantial as the fabric used several years ago. I still wear those tops, so I'm not imagining the difference. I'll keep the new ones because the cut is excellent, but I wish the company had continued to use the sightly heavier fabric of yesteryear. And of course, they're too long, so I'll be bringing them to a fancy tailor who has the special sewing machine for hemming stretch fabrics.

Stand-alone wear is fine with this one
This tank is lightweight yet is tightly woven for substantial coverage. I bought the light blue and it is a lovely shade. Shirt gives coverage for bra straps. The tank is a good length for me and I'm only 5' 3.5", but I like my shirts to fall at top of hip. I wear it as a stand alone top in my climate, but it would layer well in cooler seasons.

Excellent quality!
It seems so many things I've purchased online of late have reduced quality -- not the fabric I expected, not the size I expected, etc. Purchasing these was a welcome relief: nice packaging, good quality fabric, nicely bound armholes, close but not tight fit; in general a good tank well worth the price.
