Right of passage!
Great quality. I had an LL bean backpack for all my school years, so doing the same with my youngest. This will definitely last us daycare, preschool and elementary school. Might need the next size up for middle / highschool. Very happy with this purchase!

Ours stood the test of time
Our kindergarten through 2nd grade backpacks are almost 20 years old, and my kids still use them. Other families had to buy their kids a new backpack every year, and we used ours for 4 years at school and then as day packs. They were worth every penny. We bought our kids new LL Bean backpacks when they needed a bigger ones- 3rd grade and then 7th grade.

Great quality and perfect size backpack!
We bought this backpack 4 years ago. It has survived 2 years of preschool, a year of kindergarten and a year of 1st grade (Along with a few nature camps and beach trips too). The quality is outstanding. It still has no holes or major signs of wear. We will however upgrade to the next size this year as we go into second grade.

Love the style but wish colors were better
Ugh I really want to get one of these for my preschooler, but the colors aren’t doing it, and the patterns are diabolical. Wish there was a nice peachy/rosey/ballet pink option instead of neon pink or pale purple. A pink that coordinates with the tone used on the tote bags would make sense, no?
