Comfortable
The Chelsea boot arrived just before my European Pilgrimage, I did not have time to 'break them in", but wore them anyway for most of the trip. They were very comfortable and durable on the cobbled streets and kept my feet warm and dry in the early spring cold rain. I recommend them for the cool/cold weather and would buy them again, stylish and easy to slip on and off. ~Margaret

Not an easy slip on
Bought for a quick step in with that soles for ice and snow. The quality was good but apparently I have a high instep that made it difficult to just slip into. A zipper would help. When I reviewed length and width it is the upper part of boot.

Love these, but tough to get on
Purchased these after my 10 year old boots wore out. Love them- just wish the leather was softer/forms to your foot, & that they had a side zipper. I feel like I am going to throw my back out every time I try to get them on. Also- the traction doesn't seem on par with a "winter boot". If we could mesh all of these concepts, we would have a winner here!
