Used to Fit Well, But Not Anymore
These pants have always been one of my favorites, I have several pair that I've owned for years. Recently, however, the fit seems to have gotten even looser than it used to be, to the point where they are way too baggy in the butt. They sit well at the waist, but below that they are just too baggy. Disappointing to say the very least.

Good quality but sizing limitations are a problem
The quality of the fabric is excellent, and the fit is very good, with one exception: it is not possible to order the correct length of trousers for those of us whose leg length is not an even size. You should at least offer to alter them for a reasonable additional price. Ideally, such an alteration would be free of charge.

Almost what I wanted
The material and size are what I’m looking for but the fit has changed. The classic used to be a good medium fit that wasn’t baggy but felt comfortable. Now they are early 25 year old in the office during the 2000’s baggy, which is not professional.

Very good quality cloth and zipper; Odd sizing
Cloth is substantial and drapes well. Key feature of pants is metal tooth zipper. Other competitors use nylon zippers, which are more prone to breaking. Once the zipper breaks you might as well throw the pants away. So, you can see the LL Bean pants are likely to last longer and look better over time.
One odd thing is the sizing. I use a 34" waist in most pants, e.g. Dockers. The LL Bean pants require a 36" waist to fit. I figure that the actual dimensions are the same as other brand 34" pants but LL Bean measures them differently. This required me to send a couple of pair back to find the right size. I guess the L:L Bean are true to size but you need to find the right size to order.

Ran small to size.
Sad, the odd size was too small around the waist. I fluctuate between 32" and 34" and I am in the 32" stage now. I ordered 33" that is difficult to find with many pant makers. They are smaller than my 32" pants. Waste of hard earned money.
