Truly Warmest Coat
Great coat! Fits well. Really like the inner cuff sleeves, snaps on the zipper flap. It is so lightweight and truly is WARMEST. Well tested with our MN zero and below temps this December. Thanks, L.L. Bean

Coat has delivered on warmth and comfort
I’ve had the coat for about a month and it’s been pretty cold out. The coat is very warm. It is generously cut (I fit into a small, but on principal would not buy a small because I’m not small ) and is not tapered or cinched at the waist so I was concerned it would feel drafty. But it has delivered on the warmth! At first, the hood and strapping around the neck might seem like a lot, but in practice, I have barely noticed it when not using it. And I have a lot of hair that usually makes hoods annoying, but this one has been fine. Even with the fur. And when the hood is fully deployed, no wind can compete. I’m talking Chesapeake Bay/mid Atlantic winter winds. Maybe the people in Maine need something more but this works well for me.

Not Warm!
This coat does NOT keep you warm, even in 40°F with a heavy sweatshirt underneath, you can feel all the cold air coming right through. The pockets are so shallow everything falls out. No fleece lining on the collar or in the pockets is disappointing.

Not worth the $
The coat looks nice and fits well, but it is not warm at all and any wind over 15mph blows right through. I purchased this coat based on the reviews and I’m seriously questioning the veracity of those reviews. Pretty disappointed to have spent almost $300 for a winter coat that does not live up to the L.L. Bean reputation . Do not recommend .

Warm & Comfortable coat
I love my new LL. Bean 3/4 coat. It is so light weight and ever so warm. I feel the cold easily, but this coat keeps me sooo sooo warm without the bulk of a heavy coat. It was worth the money and it is so well made. L.L. Bean never skips on quality.
