Very Nice and Cozy!
I'm an idealist when it comes to winter coats, and I came close to giving this five stars, which says a lot. It has a wonderful feel to it. A Petite Medium will give me enough room for a mid-weight sweater. I have large shoulders and not too skinny arms so it's hard to find something that fits which isn't gigantic overall. It's easy to take off and on and I can quickly secure it with just one or two snaps when in a hurry. The inner sleeve cuffs are soft, warm, and cozy. And the exterior pockets have a nice warm lining. Style-wise the large hood adds a nice style, though I understand complaints about it covering the face. The winter white color has a dressy quality, which is nice for going to social gatherings, but I probably wouldn't use it for hiking as that color might get dirty fast. It may not be warm enough for long periods in the freezing cold, but for my mild climate, it's great and keeps the rain off. Like others, I think the pockets are too small. My cell will fit in exterior pockets, but I wish they were deeper so I don't have to zip them to feel secure. One more thing, the flaps on the hood intended as a face shield look really weird and flop around like wings and I'll probably look for a way to secure them back. But all and all, this coat is "the one" after a long, long search!

Cozy coat
Very nice fit. It is generously sized without being too boxy. I particularly like the smooth texture of the fabric which is much nicer than many polyesters used for down coats. It is very warm and cozy!

My new favorite coat
I bought this for a Christmas city break trip to New York City. I live in south Texas and didn’t have a warm enough coat. This coat did a spectacular job of keeping me warm. It is very comfortable and even though it is not advertised as being packable it very much is.
