Rated 2 out of 5 by 3Kitties from way too long for petite Length shown online for petite is supposed to be 28 1/2, which is already a bit too long for me at 5 foot 1. But I thought I would wash them and see, However, the inseam on these pants measure slightly longer than 30 inches. That's nearly two inches longer than advertised. And only 1/4 inch shorter than misses. In addition, these pants are significantly more expensive than most sweatpants in the marketplace. I am very disappointed. I expect Beans to give accurate measurements, since you can't try things on before you order them. Please speak to your manufacturer and get this corrected. Am very reluctant now to rely on your measurements.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KYMAGIRL from Best Sweat Pants Ever! These are the most comfortable sweat pants I have ever worn. They are incredibly soft. They are sweat pants, and look like sweat pants, but nice ones. I bought a size 1X, which on me are a little big in the waist and baggy in the legs, I usually wear a XL in pants. However, these are sweat pants, I did not want them to be snug or form fitting in any way, I wanted to be comfortable and they are, they aren't too big, just right for lounging around. I hope this gives people an idea of the fit of them. I like them so much I bought a second pair. I have one in classic navy and one in deep admiral blue heather, both colors are nice. I highly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by teashot from LOVE these except... I would live and sleep in these comfy stretch pants. The fabric is just right; not too heavy or too light, feels fabulous on skin. This will be the 3d pair that I've bought. Each pair I rip out the waistband and resew it with the elastic not attached (i.e. the sewn in waistband) This is a big pain in the butt, but worth it in how I can take down my pants for whatever...ever so much easier in that I don't have to retie the string each time. Wish LLBEAN did this in the first place but I've never asked them to remake the sweat pant. So here I go. Will you all please revampt the making of the waistband on these without them being sewn in?

Rated 4 out of 5 by Crjsahm from Had to size down I bought and returned a size medium because it fit way too loosely all over but esp in the waist (and mine is disproportionately larger than my hips). There is a drawstring but the french terry fabric is thick enough it doesnt gather well. That said, it is Bean's wonderful fabric for this line of which I have bought two different bathrobes, a jacket and three tops. It is just the right weight to keep me warm in transition weather, and with layers in the winter, without the sweat-inducing stickiness of regular fleece sweats. The navy color does fade a bit with washing but not unattractively so. Overall, now that I have the right size, I love these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Yrmother from Perfect Fit! Love love love these sweats! I got the periwinkle in the straight-leg, petite large and they are a perfect fit. A number of reviewers commented that the sweats are too long -- and I have a pair of the full-leg sweats, same size, that had to be taken up a couple of inches. So I was delighted to find that the length of these new ones is just right. I got the sweats for trans-season wear and for cool summer days, which are frequent in the San Francisco Bay area, and they are a perfect weight for this climate. And sooooo soft! They go through the wash perfectly too. I am going to get another pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cintia from Comfortable, Great Quality, Soft & Makes Me Happy! Just love these straight-leg Ultrasoft Sweatpants! So much so ~ I bought the light gray after trying the heather gray. Unusual for me! Nothing clingy or teeny-bopper about these pants ... fantastic old-style LL Bean quality ~ and so very comfortable ~ to be worn everywhere .... Even if (like me) you're over 50 and have had a Caesarean late in life ... (which leaves you with a tummy forever - the tight abs are gone! ... these sweatpants are classy, fit well and look great on anyone - of any size! Need more refined colors Please ~~! CC perhaps: dark khaki, dark olive, British khaki or more "heathered" colors).

Rated 2 out of 5 by figbar from Look old and faded right out of the bag Don't select "black" if you want black. The color is not gray, but a very faded, old, tired looking washed out "black" - the way really black clothing looks after many, many washings. The pair I received does not even remotely "match" with any black item I own, so if I try to pair a top with the pants, it only emphasizes how "not black" these are. I also purchased the gray, both tops and bottoms. The color was satisfactory at first, but I've washed the sweatshirt a few more times than the pants, (I've only had the gray set for 2 months) and they no longer match in color.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Laura from Not fitted enough The sizes for LL Bean are much larger. I spoke to a customer service rep and she said that the Signature line is the way to go if you want more of a fitted look. These pants were not straight leg for me, more like baggy, and were loose everywhere on me. I am slender, muscular, and the it was more like a sweatpant. I will be returning them. I like the quality of LL Bean, but not happy lately on the bulky fitting. I also bought a hoodie zip-up size medium. Same thing, baggy all along the waist, like it could be for maternity. I will be sticking to Signature line from now on, and trying on in-store only to make sure the size is right.
