Rated 1 out of 5 by skirtmaven from BRING BACK SIZE 5! Is it asking that much for ladies with a size 6 foot to be able to purchase these in the highly recommended "size down" which would be a 5? I have held off on buying so many of these mocs and boots since they do run so oversized. Either get the size 5 back for those of us that wear regular 6 adult shoes and don't tell us to buy childrens shoes which do NOT fit adult feet properly! There are plenty of ladies out there that wear a size 6 and we can't magically make our feet grow - so unless you plan on stopping selling small sizes within your whole product line stop discriminating against us with a size 6 foot, we cannot help it! Yeesh! I want to spend my money and you won't let me!

Rated 5 out of 5 by aco1 from Cannot live without these +/- 30 years ago, I bought my first pair of LL Bean mocs. The only thing that wore out on them was the tread. When I finally accepted that I had to replace them, I looked at other rain shoes/boots and none of them had the fit/quality of LL Bean, so I bought a new pair in navy. I wear these almost daily for at least 3/4 of the year walking the dog and dealing with New England weather. They easily slip on. I did buy a whole size smaller and still wear thicker socks with them. This pair will probably outlive me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ClaireD from Perfect for gardening and yard work in wet grass While I don't understand why the sizing was so odd, your advice to order a size and a half below my usual 8.5 was right on target! I ordered a 7 and the fit was perfect with light to medium weight socks. I'm also delighted that I can also just slip into them barefoot in warm summer weather, and they aren't too loose that way. I already have rubber flip flop slip-ons from you (open in front and back) but if I wear them with socks, my socks get wet. These new ones are just as confortable and keep my feet and socks perfectly dry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LLBeanVeteranShoper from Solution Found! I have a high instep and some swelling in my feet. Wide widths are too wide in the heel. Other issues require me to have an easy on, slip-on boot. My high instep has been such a problem. I have searched and searched and tried many boots to no avail until I found this boot. This boot has the adequate room in the instep area and can offer even more room by loosening the tie on laces. My shoe size is 9 or 9 1/2 and the size 8 fit perfectly not wearing mid or heavy weight socks. Comfortable and a great look to "boot"!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mary from Very comfortable and fit as expected I purchased the light olive & coral color and am getting complements on them already. I normally wear a 7.5-8 depending on manufacturer, I ordered a size 7 and while they are big in the heel cup this is not an issue by wearing thick socks and cinching up the laces. I have a wide fore foot and very narrow heel so loose heel cups have always been an issue, especially my tennis shoes, I have to cinch the heel in those too. Love them and have loved LLBEAN too since I was stationed at NSGA Winter Harbor, Winter Harbor ME '81-'83.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Irv09 from Love them I don’t wear thick socks so LLBean recommended purchasing a size smaller - I did and they fit great! Love them so much I ordered another pair in a different color.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Pronto from Sizing Way Off I hesitated to order these shoes since I typically wear a 7.5, sometimes an 8 in winter shoes. I went ahead and ordered a 7 because I read that they were made large. Even they are too big. I imagine a 6 would be too small. it is unfortunate that the sizing is not more standard and that there are not half sizes in these shoes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Coco from Back to the 80's I'm a former 80's, ten year employee. Got Mr. Gorman to build the fitness and dressing rooms. Modeled the first pair of Stretch Jeans Bean's sold. One wall in the store was a mural of my jean photo from the catalog. I regress. Lost my 80's Bean Boot Moc's in the early 90's (red). Saw these limited editions and got nostalgic. The first pair were almost perfect except I ordered my true size 8. Not sure why you still make them a size larger that they are listed as. IE, why is a size 8 actually a 9? Re-ordered a 7 and they are almost perfect. Maybe still a tad too long. Loved them so much I ordered the cream moc with navy top. So happy to be back to being a Beaner (I'm 61). These boot moc's are Street Style! Everyone I run into loves them and asks where I got them. They go great with Skinny Stretch Jeans.
