Rated 4 out of 5 by LLBeanFan from Strange Cut Fell in love with this online. Ordered XXS in burnt orange color. First top I received had a serious defect, one arm fit tighter than the other and very noticeable. Compared the sleeves and there was a significant difference. I reordered a new one, same size. Still noticed the same problem, must be a template sizing error? The different sized arms was not as bad the second time around and absolutely love this top so I made it work. The material does give a bit so it’s not noticeable anymore. Hopefully it washes well! Buyer beware though. Also noticed the cold zippers mentioned in other reviews but I wear a cami underneath the tunic so it does not bother me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by LLbeenyholic from not as warm as it appears I bought this as it appeared to be similar to the waffle knit tunics that were being sold last year. I loved them and bought all the colors. This one has the same fabric, but the styling is not as nice. The turtle neck is not as big and cozy as the cowl neck on last year's model, there is no ribbing on the bottom hem and sleeves, so it has no style, it looks very boxy. The worst thing is the zippers. Last years model had shorter zippers and they were nice. This one has zippers all the way up the sides, angled, and the zippers themselves are very cold when they touch your body. So you need to wear a tank or something under them unless you want random cold zippers hitting you when you move. So I hope they bring back the old style. It was much warmer and nicer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TallSlim from Warm, stylish, size down I had returned the brick size Small because it was billowy and shapeless. I am 5'8" but decided to downsize to XS with the worry the sleeves and length might be too short. I was so relieved that they were the perfect length and this smaller size fit. The opening for the head is tight though, so fix your hair and makeup after you put it on so you don't ruin it. Fabric quality is thicker and warmer than you might think.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Cindy from Cute Great with jeans/ legging I love this for a weekend top. I did think it was more of a sweater. However, it's not. Material is that of a thermal shirt. One problem. no placket under the zippers. That make them cold against the skin. And, it does pill up. I am using a sweater shaver to keep it looking nice.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Scrapaholic from Runs large and very boxy cut I really liked the color and had previously purchased a similar item from LLBean a couple of years ago with a cowlneck. I ordered my normal size. The same size I purchased 4 other tops in at the same time. When I tried this on, it was at least 1 size too big. The issue with the size was not related to the cut, but the cut does not help. It is more of a boxy cut than a relaxed fit. The cut issue is enough reason for me not to consider trying a size down. IF you like a boxy cut, you may like this but consider ordering down a size.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Blackbyrd from Nice fit. I love the zippers. I have wide hips and thighs so I wear the tunic with the zippers open about 1/3 of the way up -- it's a great look on me. I agree with the other reviewers that the the zippers feel cold, initially. (I find they warm up eventually.) It would be nice to have a flap or some protection from the metal against one's body. I like it so much that I'm ordering another one in a different color.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Lila2 from My New Wool Shirt This top takes the place of the wool shirt for me. It feels kinda woolish and is warm but is stylin.' In my mind one has to wear a t-neck or t shirt underneath it as it needs that additional soft layer. Alittle itchy. I usually take a Large in LL Bean but after reading reviews I chose Medium and it fit perfect. Do like it when it is cold.
