I purchased a dufferent Signature hoodie in medium in Khaki which appears to be the same, but this one was much bigger. I'm a size 8. 5'4 and would likely need the small.

I have purchased several items from LL Bean lately including the bean boot cardigan sweater which I took in an XL and a puffer vest that I took in a L (I have long arms). This sweatshirt was swimming on me in an XL. I’m going to try a L and see how it goes. It was particularly wide at the tops of the arms and sides. The bottom fit well across and was flattering in that regard. Top to bottom and arm length was good in an XL. It was terry material inside which I love for sweatshirts!

I love this hoodie! I’m probably going to buy another one because my daughter will steal this.
I have 3 other LL Bean hoodies, I love them all. I will say this one feels heavier in a good way, I guess that’s why it’s the signature hoodie!
I bought the large, I’m 5’6” 168 pounds. It fits perfect, not too tight, not swimming in it.
