The original fisherman's sweaters of the Aran Islands were knit with designs that told stories of a rich coastal heritage. From good luck to a plentiful catch, special sentiments were represented in each and every stitch. We've recreated those same authentic cable patterns in a fitted yet easygoing silhouette.

I’m 5 feet 2 1/2 inches and I weigh 125 lbs.i ordered the medium. It fits perfectly. There is enough room for layering. This is a great quality sweater and I love that it is cotton. It has a nice weight to it also.
