The softest long-lasting flannel, designed in a flattering longer length. Our scotch plaid tunic is available 100% authentic Scottish tartans - all specially yarn-dyed so they'll stay bright.
This exclusive flannel tunic is woven just for us by true artisans in Portugal. These expert craftspeople meticulously brush our Scotch Plaid fabric eight times on each side to create a long-lasting material with that distinctive smooth and cozy feel. But that doesn't automatically make it plush enough. It still needs to pass the "touch test." Only a master weaver can declare it soft enough.

OK, but not great
Comfy fabric, but unfortunately the fit for me just isn't 100%. If I sized up, it would be much too large. It's a little tight in the shoulders and while the buttons lie flat, there is a fair amount of "gapping" with any movement. Just a little bummed as it looked good when I tried it on (which is why I kept it), but realized there were issues with more prolonged wear.

my family tartan!
Was surprised to see that LLBean's new fall flannels included Wallace plaid which is my family tartan! Typically is difficult to find so I bought everything they have in this particular plaid. Everything is a beautiful Portuguese cotton flannel, super soft, thick and warm. Love every item and loved that I could ship to store and double check the fit on those items that the store didn't stock!
