This exclusive flannel shirt is woven just for us by true artisans in Portugal. These expert craftspeople meticulously brush our Scotch Plaid fabric eight times on each side to create a long-lasting material with that distinctive smooth and cozy feel. But that doesn't automatically make it plush enough. It still needs to pass the "touch test." Only a master weaver can declare it soft enough.

Cheery unusual colors, well made and cozy
I chose a plaid that had colors like aqua and coral, as well as the usual navy blue and green. It works somehow and looks good with a wide range of sweaters and pants. Just right when the grey weather makes you long for color. Well made, as always, and cozy.

warm and cozy
Over the years I have purchased several of these. Warm, comfortable, easy to care for. My only suggestion would be to make these in some solid colors in addition to the plaids. By "colors", I mean NOT pastels, "girly" colors. I often see clothing for men in the kind of colors that I would like - heather-like blues, rusts, green, etc. I don't want to dress like a 12 yr old.

A Flannel to Treasure
I chose this flannel pattern for its soft, rich coloring, and am very pleased. The pastel red and blue shades against the soft beige background are very flattering to me as a 90 year old LLBean fan! The softness of the shirt makes it very comfortable on its own or layered over a turtleneck.

Great flannel shirt
I love this plaid flannel shirt! It is thick and soft and really cozy. Very good quality fabric and well made. It’s casual and the fit is very comfortable. I bought the Antique Dress Stewart and love the colors. It goes with a lot, esp., my tan corduroy pants. I would definitely recommend this casual, cozy flannel shirt.
