Rated 5 out of 5 by MarieKK from Exactly what I was looking for... I live on the west coast and we get a lot of rain - fall through to spring. I needed a short coat that was "weather proof" and as comfy to me as my longer light down coat. This coat is perfect. I am 5'6" 145lbs average length arms and build. I wasn't sure what to expect from reading the reviews and the size chart (arm measurement seemed long to me) so I ordered a M and L. Tried on the M first and it fits me perfectly. Arms are the perfect length and the fit through the body is roomy enough to wear a sweater under - not too bulky with just a t-shirt under either. So I'm sending back the L and considering getting another M in a different colour!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by doberman1969 from weird sizing and arm hole placement The jacket is beautiful, but the armhole placement is really off (low) and the double zipper is definitely problematic. I originally ordered an XL which was huge and the armholes were placed really low, which causes the shoulders to bunch. So I sent it back and ordered the L. The L was just a bit too snug in the shoulders and again the arm hole placement was low, which causes the coat to ride up in the shoulders. The double zipper is also difficult to work. Its too bad this jacket has such a weird fit, it is stunning in person and it would have been a perfect Fall/Spring coat. Please fix these issues, I wanted to love this coat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Skymeadow from Nice Classic Look Nice jacket. I am 5' 2" and about 110 and ordered a petite small. Although personally I wish the waist was a bit smaller with so many body types and sizes out there what might fit me perfectly may not fit someone else. I adjusted the side snaps to the shortest position and it has a nice classic look. It is a good size for me in that I can layer with turtleneck & sweater and or vest when it is chiller or just a shirt during warmer weather. I leave the sleeves unturned - they can seem a bit long but when my arms are bent such as while driving I am glad to have the extra length as they cover my wrists. All in all I love this coat and would buy again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mbonaccorso2 from I like it I do like this jacket. It runs a little large but then you can add a layer underneath which you will have to do if the temp is under 45 degrees. If you are looking for a warm jacket this is definitely not it. This is more of a spring or early fall jacket here in the northeast. The sleeves are long as many reviewers stated but I think they are meant to be cuffed and it looks cute that way. As for the zipper, it just takes some getting used to. I have several jackets that have double zippers so that you can zip up from the bottom and all have the same issue you just have to make sure you push through both zipper pulls.

Rated 3 out of 5 by vwAZ from very wide long sleeves I tried this jacket in both regular and petite but the arms were too wide and long for me in both (I'm 5'5", wear xs in LLBean and have average length arms). The petite arms came to the bottom of my thumb and I could easily have fit another thick jacket into the arms. I couldn't take the sleeves up because of the snap detail. Disappointing as everything else about the jacket is excellent - nice shape and length in the regular, good fabric and weight for a not too cold climate, cute plaid lining and I particularly like the fold over collar (don't like stand collars). The navy is a very dark, almost greyish blue.

Rated 4 out of 5 by westcoastnative from Pretty jacket and perfect for fall/spring After reading the reviews I wasn't sure if I should buy this jacket. However I took a chance and I'm glad I did. Such a pretty and feminine jacket! Although the material is thinner than expected, it's surprisingly warm even on windy and cold autumn days. The adjustable tabs in the back are nice when wearing multiple/thicker layers. With the exception of the sleeves being a little long, I didn't have any issues with the size. The cuffs can be rolled up to reveal a nice plaid pattern. For size reference I'm 5'5",between 145-150 lbs and ordered a medium petite in green. Quick note-the green colorwise is closer to an olive/hunter green than ivy but still a pretty shade.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KittyM from Love this jacket This is my favorite jacket - I love it. I have 3 of them them and just bought it in the cayenne red to wear over the holidays. It's the perfect weight for fall yet warm enough in the winter if you wear a turtleneck under it. It's very comfortable too even in the car. It's the perfect length. I buy the petite XL just because I like to have more "room" to layer. I was afraid "cayenne" might be too orange but it's a perfect holiday red. I absolutely love it. So glad the red came back in stock. With the 25% off and my Bean Bucks it was such a bargain too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by nycllbeaner from Great jacket! I am compelled to write a review of this jacket as I have been using exclusively for the past month here in NYC. The weather has been chilly / cold / wet. This jacket has been perfect in all conditions. It's light weight, not bulky & long enough to wear over blazers. It keeps me warm but not so much that I overheat. It's the perfect jacket in my opinion. Looks polished for wearing to work with trousers yet sporty with jeans and boots on weekends. It's slightly tapered at the high waist and very flattering. I was considering another very expensive brand but happened to try this on and was so happy with the look and fit that I decided to give it a try. Excellent value, 100% recommend!
