What happened LLBean?
Rough linen and worst of all cut for a man. Colors were beautiful (I ordered two) kicked around keeping and wearing open with a tank but not worth it. For reference I am a solid size 10 (5’7 150lbs) so the medium should have me fine. Poor quality overall

I really want to love this shirt
I like the idea of this shirt more than the item itself. About 10 years ago I purchased a linen shirt from Bean that was so soft it was a delight to wear. In addition, the sleeve width was nice and wide so it was very comfortable to roll them up when the weather was hot. Every linen shirt you have offered since has been either scratchier and/or narrower in the sleeves. I had stopped buying your linen shirts, but thought I would give this one a try since I really need one. I love the blue stripe. The workmanship is good. But the material is not that soft, and the arms are too narrow. I can wear it, but it lacks the ease and flowiness of a really high quality linen.

A beautiful addition to my collection of linen!
A very nice shirt that is not too oversized, so it is more versatile: wear it on its own, or over a camisole or tank top. It will even work as an elevated swimsuit coverup that will have you biking to or from the beach in style. I bought a women's regular Large, but at 5'4", it's tunic length on me, so I may either hem it a bit, or would consider purchasing a petite next time. The linen is of a substantial weight, so I expect it to be part of my wardrobe for years to come.
