I love these slacks
I own 5 pairs. I bought the first pair in black in 2000 for a backpack trip around Europe. Dried so much faster than jeans. It's still in good shape, only very slightly bulgy at the knees. The color is still black, only very slightly paler than my 2 other newer black ones. I have gray & taupe too. They go to church, to work, to the airport. So comfortable and smooth looking. They do not cling and are thick enough to not show my cellulite. My weight has fluctuated 15 lbs up & down and they still worked for me.

Classic Basic to dress up or Down
IMO the Bootcut Fit is the Perfect of the perfect fit pants. The mid-rise and the lack of pockets is the clear winner for me. I have had many pairs of these over the past 10 plus years, and the Bootcut Fit has never had pockets. In addition, the mid-rise does hit below the waist, so the fit around that area might be tighter or looser, depending on your body shape. They work for me because of that because I'm pretty much triangle/rectangle body shape, but YMMV if you're apple and carry more weight there or pear or hourglass. I can't really say because even though I'd like to have curves, I just don't. Just mentioning this so if you're considering these pants, the mid-rise makes a difference. I'm also glad there are no pockets because those add bulk, and who needs that. I do wish that they were more flare/bootleg to the cut, but I still buy the pants in Petite sizes Sm and XS and wear them for a variety of things. Also, one last tip on the fading - use SOAK or another rinseless wash. Cold water. Far less worry about fading.

Great pants
I love these pants. Great fit and great cut. I wear them all year round and have numerous pairs. The medium tall keeps selling out. Hopefully they will be back in stock again soon so I can put in my next order.

No pockets..a first for Perfect Fit..unfortunately
I need pockets in pants. I am surprised these pants have no pockets. Since they are called boot...guess tissues go in boots.....which I don't wear. Is LLBean cutting corners? The prices have gone up after all these years...which I understand, but at least continue the pockets.

Nice pants

They fit perfectf
