Material has been changed
I bought these pants around 7 or 8 years ago and the corduroy fabric, while stretchy, was a thicker material than the ones I got last year. The original cords I bought held their shape really well and the inseam fit was perfect. The newer ones are a much lighter, stretchier fabric and are already getting shapeless. They are also too long so I need to pay to get them hemmed. Please don't let your overseas factories substitute cheaper fabrics.

Arrived used!
These pants arrived without a tag, and without any "new clothes" smell. The cordoroy was slightly worn in places. They are obviously not new. I am so disappointed. This has never happened -- and I've been buying LLBean clothes for 15 years. Returning them today.

disappointed
The material is much lighter that last year's version and the corduroy effect
is hardly noticeable. They really seem like a much cheapened version of the
previous model. The fit and style is still good so I'm keeping them, but I'm very disappointed. If the catalogue had noted that the material was different from last year's
version I could have decided whether to order or not, but they are another example of LLBean cheapening a product with no warning.
