Rated 5 out of 5 by Orcasgirl from Your Favorite Winter Pants Do pants cut into your waist while sitting or bending? These don't. Do you come home and have to CHANGE out of your cords to get into something more comfortable? Not these cords. Stretchy but not tight like leggings. Warm but not heavy. Your legs will stay warm. Yes, these are pull up pants but they hang just right wash after wash. I got x large this time because I gained, but didn't need too. These pants seem to fit and adjust to body size. Large works good on me too. I'm 5'6"and 190 and USUALLY wear womens. But large is good and x large is a little baggy but not too much. You'll love them. Hope this helps!

Rated 5 out of 5 by gosox from Great for "in between sizes"! If you're looking for pants that feel like you're wearing sweats then this is the pant for you! Except, unlike sweats, these pants are actually quite presentable for leaving the house! They are warm, soft, stretchy and super comfortable. As an example, I bought size medium regular (which on the size chart is for 10-12). I usually wear size 10 pants. I weigh 123 and am 5'4. The narrow, flat , elastic waistband is well done and not bulky at all. If you don't want to advertise the "waist" just wear a top that covers it up. I'm retired and my main objective is to look "presentable" and feel "comfortable'. Why not get these pants and accomplish both!

Rated 5 out of 5 by lesleyg from Longtime fan! I buy one or more pairs of these cords every year as new colors are introduced, but I still own and love those previously purchased, some of which I've had for many years. Even the oldest pairs still look great after repeated machine washing and tumble drying, and they have never shrunk. I wear the petite length, which works well for me (I'm 5 feet tall). Today I'm buying the raisin brown shade, and I'm sure I'll love this pair as much as I do all of the others. These cords are comfortable, well-made, good-looking, and easy care. They will continue to be a great staple of my fall/winter wardrobe.

Rated 4 out of 5 by eurekabeaner from Run small This was my first pair of Perfect Fit pants, and I see why people love them - soft, comfy, infinitely stretchy. However, I sent these back because of the fit: I am a size 12 petite in almost all LLB pants and a medium petite in items like the tropicwear and sunwashed canvas that are S-M-L sizes. These pants in Med Petite were OK in the waist but fit right on your skin everywhere through hips, buns, upper thighs - absolutely no "hang", more like leggings than pants - and short in the rise - and I have a short rise as it is. If you are a really fit hard-body, you can maybe do that - chubby over-60, not so much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by GimmieMore from Great Pants!! I la la love these pants! LLBean calls them Prefect Cords and they are. They're comfortable enough to wear at home on days off and nice enough to wear to work with a blazer. I'm tall and slim, wear an x-small and can never get pants that fit, and are long enough to cover my ankles. When I do they shrink in length. So I took the chance on these pants ordering a medium tall and I'm really happy I did. I ordered 3 pair and haven't worn anything else since I recieved them in the mail and they didn't shrink. My Mom ordered the Perfect Cords at my recomendation, she has a totally different body type, she's short and curvy and she loves them too! Free shipping on top of that and I couldn't ask for more.

Rated 4 out of 5 by OhioMommy86 from Nice, comfy, a little short I ordered the Small in Loden and I really like these pants. Super comfy, but they can be dressed up with the right top and shoes. Definitely can't wear any shoe with a heel with these, and I'm 5'5". Even in my normal flat shoes these are borderline too short but I love the comfort so I've been wearing them a lot. My waist is 28" and the band is stretchy enough that I don't feel these are too tight in the waist, but I may try the medium next time for a little extra room. I went with small because the legs are wide and I am afraid the legs of the medium size would be huge on my lanky legs. Will order medium next time to compare.

Rated 1 out of 5 by SewLow from Used I was disappointed to receive my order today and find out that this one pants has been used and washed. First it smells like fabric softner and it is short. Upon looking at the pants, I determined that it has been used and washed. Pockets on the inside have fuzzy balls which is another sign of being used and washed. I have never experienced this with LLBean. I am returning for a replacement which should be new since it is what I paid for. I am hoping that LLBean does not make me wait forever for the replacement since I am a good customer of LLBean. Something like this may make me think twice before I place an order again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by cyngli from nice pants I am 5'3" and normally wear a size 10. I bought a Medium regular because sometimes petites are too short in the leg and rise. The regular is good on the rise. I gave it a somewhat short rating because I am only 5'3" and length was good with a 2" clog heel. A taller person might need to wear them with flats. I think these run a bit small for a 10-12. I am a 10 and they fit just right. A 12 would probably be way too tight in the rear, depending on build. They do not stretch out during the day like some knit pants. Maybe a teeny bit. I bought gray and sable. Gray is gray, pretty much as shown. Sable is more of a khaki color, so that was a little disappointing. I'm keeping them anyway. Hope this helps.
