"Sam, you made the pants too long"
I have been ordering and happily wearing the sunwashed canvas pants for years. I just retired a pair I had bought in 2017! However, my new pair is longer than the old pair and had to be hemmed. I ordered petite as usual, but they were still a bit too long.

THEY RUN LARGE --INDEED!
I guess I did not review previously submitted reviews about these running large. They do... They were too expensive to give away, I probably would have to hunt down the receipt and so the alternative is to have them altered-- which will cost money. If I were not swimming in them, I would wear them anyway, but the size is all wrong.

Huge; thin fabric
I was hoping for a long version of the sunwashed shorts, which I love. It's not. The fabric is much thinner and although I bought the same med size I take in the shorts, the pants are huge.

Canvas pants
Nice material, a bit heavy for what I wanted, but very large. The legs also seemed tapered so were uncomfortable to do a lot of bending. Bean sizes are not the same between items, as some large fits perfect and some are too big.
