Rated 5 out of 5 by RRHfromCT from comfortable, practical, versatile -- with pockets! Great product overall. I had three pair of these pants, and just ordered three more in different colors. They are comfortable, wear well, and can be dressed up or down. And they have back pockets! Hallelujah! They are definitely my go-to summer slacks. My one suggestion is that the front pockets be shaped better, as items such as keys can slide out when one is sitting down. My request is that these be offered in WHITE! What is summer without white pants? And while I'm mentioning colors: Why not offer them also in that lovely new malachite green? Why are only the sunwashed shorts (and neither these nor the full-length pants) offered in that color?

Rated 1 out of 5 by nvermont from Poor fit if you have a waist L.L. Bean began offering these pants about five years ago, maybe more. The first couple of years, the fit was fantastic. Then they changed it, and they don't fit me any more. The waist is now enormous. When I hold up the pants and look at them, it is almost a straight line from the waist down to the hips. Yes, you can pull in the drawcord to make the waist fit, but that is a nuisance and uncomfortable. Also, the elastic at the back is so scrunchy that it looks like a bag, and pulls the waist down at the middle. I usually have great luck with clothes from L.L. Bean, but on this item, they really botched what used to be a wonderful design.

Rated 1 out of 5 by MrsSnow from Totally different from last year's model! I've been a fan of LL Bean's sunwashed pants, both full-length and cropped for several years. I hate that you have discontinued the medium tall in the full-length, but I was hopeful that the cropped pants would still be okay. They aren't. i have a pair of Large regulars from last year in khaki and this year in chambray. They are cut totally differently. The new ones are skimpy through the hips and baggy at the waist (the drawstring helps, but not with the hip issue). Putting them next to each other, the two pairs of pants aren't even remotely the same shape. Whatever you've done, please go back to the old version.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Marmallow1 from Sizing I can’t complain about the quality of the item; however, the sizing is extremely large. I bought the canvas capris and they were so large it looked like a tent on my legs. I thought the denim capris would fit better because they were supposed to be cut slimmer. That was not the case for them either... too large and I’m returning them. The inseam was 23 inches but the crotch was so low that the capris came down to my ankles. I’m going to try one more time with a smaller size. I’m hoping 3 times is the charm. The stores don’t carry women plus sizes so I can’t try anything on for sizing. Buying online is a crap shoot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BonnieR09 from Great must have capri pants I bought these for an upcoming trip to Disney World. When I initially tried them on, they felt boxy/unflattering. So I washed and dried them and they are perfect! Few things to note after reading other reviews: - These pants are long! I am 5'4" and typically wear regular length pants/capris, but I ordered a petite and these fall halfway down my calf after drying. -These pants run big! I am usually a 16/18 and I fit perfectly in an XL -These are comfortable and you will want to buy more- I am online to buy another pair! -They do wrinkle after drying, but no enough for me to pull out the dusty iron.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Briannamom from My perfect summer pants! These have become my "go to" summer pants. Over the past few of years, I have ordered the capris in white and light beige, and the long version in dark beige. I usually have trouble finding pants that are roomy enough through the hips and thighs without being huge on the waist. With the drawstring, these are just perfect. They are durable, and wash very well - I often get carried away in the garden and end up digging in the dirt on my hands and knees with my white pants on - they come out clean every time, and the only hole I've managed to put in them was with a pair of sharp pruning shears I had absentmindedly stuffed in the pocket. Already planning to order two more pairs for this summer.

Rated 2 out of 5 by josiepoconos from Not original fit. I just ordered 2 pair of Sunwashed Canvas Pants only because they were suppose to be the "original fit". They are not the same fit as those purchased in the past. The hips and waist are narrower and not as comfortable as my old ones. The white pair I am returning because my old pair is still in good shape and much more comfortable. The tan pair I am keeping only out of necessity because my old ones are getting worn out. I literally live in these pants from spring through summer and I was so happy when I read that the original fit returned but it hasn't.

Rated 2 out of 5 by mns06 from Same pant, not the same fit I have 2 pairs of these purchased within the past 1-3 years and I love them. They are comfortable and fit well. Based on that, I ordered two new pair recently. I ordered the same size (petite small) and these new ones fit nothing like the old ones even though they are the same size and L.L. Bean fit. The new ones are too wide in the legs and and have a baggier fit overall. They are also longer than the old ones, and I'm confident that the old ones have not shrunk since they fit the same as they have from day one. I've included a photo to show the new ones (blue) on bottom and the old ones (green) on top and the fit disparity between the two. Very disappointing. Needless to say, I'll be returning both pairs of pants.
