Rated 3 out of 5 by Jamey23 from Okay This coat isn't as warm as I was hoping it would be and we're only in December. Still not sure if I'll keep it. I wish LL Bean would modify all of their women's coats to place the inside pockets better (maybe some are better than this coat but the Bean coats I've owned all have the same placement). The inside left pocket is very small and at breast level which is quite uncomfortable. The inside right pocket barely fits a phone. I have a competitor's coat which has much better placement. The left pocket is long so my wallet sits much lower making it more comfortable. Similarly, the right inside pocket is larger and thus more useful.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Millie913 from Warm for Its Weight I bought the jacket to have something warmer than a fall coat, but lighter than my big down parka. It is surprisingly warm for the weight and thickness of the jacket, great for ease of movement. I wish it were a big longer to cover my rear end. Sleeves are a little long for me, but I don't mind. Zippers work smoothly and pockets are big enough for a pair of gloves. I think the color is Blue, but it looks more purple to me -- a plus for me, but maybe not for everyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sami from BEST PUFFY EVER THIS IS, HANDS "DOWN", THE BEST PUFFY EVER! I purchased this jacket and have been nothing but amazed with how warm it is! The fit is perfect (which i have a lot of trouble with being a curvy woman who likes to adventure in the outdoors). It is the only true to size, quality outerwear I have found in a long time! It keeps me super warm! Even hiking around Alaska in 40MPH winds. I would highly recommend this jacket to anyone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by angelo1 from great this is without a doubt one of the best garments I've ever had. It's simple, no doo-dads, it fits perfectly, everything is functional and it's attractive and colorful -- I have the teal and the contrasting trim is beautiful.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Coldallwinter from Great Jacket if it wasn't so large. This jacket runs so large that cold air invades all the extra space. It feels bulky and it is not very comfortable to drive in. I would recommend it if it was sized correctly. It is a good jacket for above 32 degrees F. It is not warm enough (for me anyway) when the temperature drops below the freezing mark. I love the color which is almost a purple. I just wish it was sized accurately and more fitted. I always wear a small. Extra small is too snug and medium is too large in most cases. This fit me like a large or extra large.

Rated 5 out of 5 by UntidyHeidi from It's instalove. I'm in love with this jacket. Like, absolute love. The colors are so gorgeous, and you can't go wrong with indigo, pink, and teal in my opinion. The "blue" is really more of an indigo. This jacket fits so freakin' well that I never want to take it off. I LOVE the pretty zipped pockets with the pink! A touch of lovely. I also love the hood, which doesn't feel obtrusive when I'm not wearing it. This is a darned fine jacket. It has less puff than I expected it too. I love it anyway. The sleeves are a bit too long, and I like the black trim at the wrists. The zipper seems to be issue-free, which is good, because other coats from LL Bean have had zipper issues. My intuition tells me this one won't have zipper issues (because it's a different/better sort of zipper). The only thing I'd change is that the hangy tag is a bit too small, and it's a stretch to hang this jacket over our midcentury-modern spherical coatrack design. It's not too small, just almost too small, to go over the hook. That's a minor issue. I love this jacket. And I love LL Bean! And someday I shall make my pilgrimage to the LL Bean holy land in New England and see the brick-and-mortar stores! Oh, glory be. (If you think I'm being sarcastic, um... I'm really not!)

Rated 2 out of 5 by lovetoswim from sleeves were way too long I tried on a medium in the store, but the sleeves were too long. I tried on a medium (although I could wear a small) because I wanted to be able to wear a heavy sweatshirt underneath. I thought the problem of the long sleeves would be solved by ordering a petite medium online. (Sadly, there were no petites in the store.) But the sleeves were still ridiculously long. Also I could feel the wind coming up my arms because the cuffs were very loose.
