Product Details
In a class all its own, our long Ultralight Down Coat defies cold, wet weather and comparison. We combined all the best outerwear technology - innovative DownTek, 850-fill-power and a Pertex Quantum nylon shell - for unbeatable performance.
We start with premium 850 down, which provides more warmth for its weight, and then treat it with revolutionary DownTek that allows our jackets to do what many others can't. Unlike ordinary untreated down that soaks up moisture, ours repels water and dries faster to stay light, lofty and comfortable, longer.

- Machine wash and dry.
- Material: Premium Pertex Quantum nylon shell
- Wind Resistant: Yes
- Pockets: Two zippered hand pockets, one interior mesh pocket
- Weight: 1.21 lbs.
- Water Resistant: Yes
- Insulation: Yes, 850-fill DownTek™ water-repellent down
- Hooded: Yes, attached insulated hood with back cinch cord adjuster
- Zippers: Two-way zipper opens from top or bottom

Nice coat but runs large
This coat is mad well. It is light weight and would be easy to pack in a suitcase. However, it is not extremely warm and would be better in temperatures that are in the mid 30s. It also runs quite large. I ordered a petite extra small and it fit more like a regular small. There is no petite extra extra small so I am returning the coat. .

The Best Coat I Ever Owned and I’m 75!!!
My daughter in law recommended LL Bean for my winter coat. I’ve always loved long coats but this one is the first one I’ve ever owned that is super lightweight but nice and warm. I wore it on a plane trip to Ohio and upstate New York then back to beautiful New Jersey. I really like the zippered pockets, the double zippers on the coat so that I can unzip from the bottom when getting in a car or truck and the inside deep pocket where I can put my gloves. This hooded down coat is such a beautiful shade of blue; great job whoever designed this. Highly recommend purchasing this coat or giving as a forever gift.

Best choice/ don’t often give reviews
The most versatile for winter. Can add more layers if needed for extra cold. Can unzip from bottom for more Movement. Lightweight Hood when unexpected shorts or snow. Easy to pack for warm/ cold weather travel. Only problem I had was the zipper wore out after over 10 years of regular use so I bought another one.

Where have you been all my life?
I LOVE this coat. I purchased it last winter to keep warm when walking the dogs. I appreciate the fact that it's long enough to reach my knees. It is a little roomy - enough so that I can add layers if needed, but not so much that it's ill fitting if I don't layer. The hood fits perfectly and the pockets are handy. I especially like that I can unzip it from the bottom for the car, which makes it more comfortable to sit, and doesn't put stress on the zipper. Finally, it's toasty warm and perfect for New Jersey winters, but it's surprisingly light weight. Win, win, win!

Consider needs, great coat for extreme cold
Very expensive and not super stylish. However a great coat for the right situation - pricey if you don't live in extreme temperatures. A must have and worth $300+ in Chicago, a "maybe nice to have" and too stylish for milder temps in Atlanta.

Great coat, fits big
I do love this jacket. However, for how much I spent on it, I wouldn’t have thought the down feathers would start coming out of the jacket so soon. I’ve barely worn it since I live in the south. It does fit a bit big as well, so order a size down from what you normally would get. Color & comfort are fantastic.

I just got my coat today... It was medium. It looked like an extra large. It was terrible. It would be like a wind tunnel... I am returning it and buying an extra small
