Made from premium stretch denim, with state-of-the-art S GENE® technology, the breakthrough fabric "remembers" its shape for superior retention. While the average recovery of other stretch denim is around 70% (leaving plenty of room for bagging and sagging), True Shape recovers 93% of its original shape (ensuring a great fit all day, every day). These jeans will follow your every move and look just as good at the end of the day as they did when you first put them on.
- Black: 90% cotton, 8% polyester and 2% elastane.
- Rinsed, Stonewashed: 93% cotton, 5% polyester and 2% elastane.
- Machine wash and dry.

Odd fitting
I do not like the cut, style, fabric, nor the fit. There is no give in the material; it's as though the fabric was pull taut before the fabric was cut. The smaller cut of the hip, seat, thigh, and knee area seem out of proportion with the sizing of the waist. The fit feels very constrictive and the back of the waistband rides down. The overall look is not attractive on the body. I don't recommend this jean.
Note: Please bring back the jeans of earlier years with the same quality fabric, same cut, and same sizing: Item #500329, RN# 71341, VN# 1002974, 84% cotton, 14% polyester, 2% spandex and Item #269631, RN 71341, VN 05492, 83% cotton, 16% polyester, 1% elastane. Now those are comfortable pants!

Unpleasant chemical odor
The fit is great, but the black color has a strong chemical smell that persists, even after several washes. I have 2 other colors and they don’t have this problem.
