For nearly 90 years, we've been making our authentic Scotch Plaid flannel shirts the way we always have: better than everyone else's. Our exclusive flannel fabric is meticulously woven with longer-staple cotton, which means the individual cotton fibers are about one-quarter inch longer than short-staple fibers, making a huge difference in fabric strength and quality. Then, it's meticulously brushed eight times on each side and given a "touch test" by a master weaver to declare it soft enough.

Great color with fit issues.
Loved the color, but found the tailoring a bit off. When you raise your arms to the side, the yoke lifts up off your shoulders awkwardly. Comparing it to others flannel shirts that i own, it appears that the sleeves are attached at a lower angle. I hope LL Bean fixes this with their supplier for next season.

Beautiful and soft!
This is the third shirt I have bought like this; very soft and of course warm for the winter months. My sons and grandsons love your shirts! The fit is true to size as always and they wash and dry like a champ...thank you LLBean for keeping my guys warm and toasty ...

Poor fit
The sleeves and arm holes are too slim. Constricting when I move my arms up or drive. That being said, the waist is baggy. Not at all for an athletic fit.
