Rated 5 out of 5 by EQW5 from The perfect bag! Will buy more! I bought two of these bags for my wife and daughter who were going to Europe for 2 weeks. They raved about them! The bright color and monograms made them easy to find at the airport, they were easy to pack into the trunk of the rental car (and the back seat when the trunk was full), and they could easily hold two weeks worth of clothing and lots of souvenirs on the trip home. My wife used packing cubes to keep everything organized within the bag, which she described as a “game changer” and will use from now on with any duffle pack. For our next family trip we will buy more of these in different colors so that everyone in the family has their own bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CarolinaCoastFamily from A world traveler I just purchased our family's 12th bag in this line. We have been using these for the past 9 years and as my 4 children grow up and move on to college we keep needing more (conveniently color coded by family member). We have traveled all over the world with them. Most often we just use the Medium as our sole bag and carry it on the plane. The Large and Extra-Large have been great bags for longer trips. All have held up extremely well and the darker ones still look brand new (lighter colors show the dirt). I love that they are water-resistant/waterproof. They have capacity, durability, and are an all around FABULOUS bag.

Rated 4 out of 5 by JJJDDD from Can easily pack for a week I own this in the medium size as well; that one is good for a long weekend, but I often find I'm cramming stuff in, so I bought the large for a longer trip. I really wish there were a size in-between the medium and large. This one is great in the sense that you can fit a lot in it, but I had tons of extra space even when I packed pretty heavily for a 4-day work trip: 5 pairs of shoes, exercise clothes, outfits for both day and night, and toiletries. Overall, though, it's a good bag- sturdy, well-made; what you'd expect from LL Bean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pittsburgher from Next Gen Rolling Duffle We finally replaced our two 10-year old aqua Bean duffles with new beautifully-colored teal ones. They are our go-to travel luggage, since they are tough, hold a lot without hitting the 50lb checked-baggage limit, and roll easily. Our old ones had picked up a variety of scratches/rips and dirt from many trips, but otherwise still work fine. The new bags seem to be identical to the old ones in terms of functionality and quality. My only disappointment with our new ones is the thin style of the monogrammed letters vs the older, more bold monogramming (same block choice/color).

Rated 4 out of 5 by DuppyMom from One for each family member I bought four of these in four different colors for a 2 week trip to Europe. We needed to pack clothing, but we also needed some cycling gear (helmets, saddles, pedals, tools), so we were well out of carry-on range. Recognizing them at baggage claim was a snap. They usually fit in the luggage racks on the trains, although I needed the taller people in the group to heave them up there. I saw the complaints that the bags wouldn't stand up. Not sure I've met a duffel bag that does. We solved it by having our bags "kiss" (see the picture). Worked great at train stations, etc. The handles and wheels worked perfectly for us, and we dragged them all over. These are large, unstructured spaces. If you need more organization, I recommend getting some packing cubes. Socks do get lost in there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tagg from Rolling Duffle Large I love this product. I gift it mainly to high school graduates. It’s sturdy, it holds a ton and being light weight and on rollers makes it wonderful! Most people’s complaint is that it doesn’t stand upright but it’s a DUFFLE on wheels not a suitcase. This allows it to flatten to almost nothing and is easily stored in a closet, under a bed, couch etc. It is perfect for dormitory rooms and small apartments where there just isn’t room to store a big suitcase. It is perfect for me because I don’t want to store big suitcases and the few times I fly, I will put up with the inconvenience of it not standing vertical because I love how it functions otherwise.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Carpncod from Tough bag Bought this bag for my daughter to use coming back and forth from college. It holds enough for her to come home for a month on winter break. It is constructed really well, and looks like it will hold up for many years to come. It folds down flat for easy storage in a cramped dorm room. The wheels roll smoothly, with no issues on less than perfectly smooth floors or stairs. She had no issues rolling the fully loaded bag, even though she had to have help lifting the heavy bag up to be checked. The only draw backs are that won't stand up on end when rolling it, and it is hard to hang another bag (like a carry on) on it when rolling. I would have given it 4 1/2 stars if I could have. This was the best of all of the bags of this type I looked at, and a great value.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Estherika from Rolling Adventure Duffel I like my new LARGE duffel. I used it once on a trip via Air to Milwaukee. Large and plenty room for my 2 week stay. However, one problem, The Duffel is unable to stand Vertically. It must be placed on the ground Horizontally. With today travel, going in and out of cars, checking luggage at the Airport Gate, the Duffel had to be placed Horizontally. Needles to say, to pick it up when it is full at about 40 + lbs was not an easy task. I do have a small soft Luggage by another comp, that have 2 small legs for resting vertically. Thank You. Estherika.
