Excellent shirt!
My husband has received a different color for the last nine Christmas. Perfect flannel light weight for flexibility of Texas weather. Runs true to size XL/250, fits his large middle and stays tucked in! Wash in cold water, cool tumble dry, no wrinkles, no shrinking. retains color, dress up or casual. Request a maroon houndstooth 2026. Buy you will not he disappointed!!

Not quite the same as they used to be
I have been buying these nice shirts for a number of years now, own most of the colors, and received a charcoal gray shirt for Christmas. As soon as I put it on I noticed a difference. The material is noticeably thinner and not quite as soft and luxurious as all my other Wicked Good shirts. This same thing has happened to some of Bean's Scotch Plaid flannel shirts. Some of the new colors/patterns are noticeably thinner and less soft while other new colors/patterns are as soft and warm as ever. Why are some colors/patterns of the same shirt of a lesser quality than others? And, I would swear that some of the newer Scotch Plaid shirts are a little skimpier than others. This seems to be a trend these days. Fabrics are becoming thinner, stiffer, shorter, and skimpier every year. I would rather pay LL Bean more to keep the same outstanding quality as always than to see them go the way so many other men's clothiers have gone to cut costs.
