Surprisingly Large
Having lost quite a bit of weight, I had “recalibrated” my sizing to Large Tall in shirts and Jackets, and Mediuim Tall in tees and henleys. All the Bean items I had in these sizes fit great. This shirt and one like it arrived and appreared quite large, but being 100% cotton I thought they’d shrink. Wrong. THESE DO NOT SHRINK. They fit me like a tent and now I’ve already washed and worn them. I love the shirts otherwise, quality construction, great colors, etc. They just fit like a tent! It’s especially disappointing when I have other Bean shirts in the same size that fit perfectly. Now I don’t know what to order!

This is the third wicked good flannel shirt purchased. The material, fit and feel are perfect. It washes well in cool water with low dryer and hang to complete, it looks ironed! Look for new colors each year.

poor quality
I purchased this same shirt last year for my husband and it immediately became his favorite shirt. I was excited to buy him another for christmas until he tried it on. It was the same item # and same size and it was HUGE. Very disappointed.
