sturdy work shoes
got these shoes in my normal wide size to do work in the backyard. They are very sturdy, but also roomy and comfortable enough to wear around the house or for errands.

Out of the box these seem really well made. True to size and insanely comfortable.

Just right for my need.
I was looking for a casual shoe that did not have an aggressive tread that would pick up and hold pebbles and mud. This shoe does have a tread, but much less severe.

Love them, but….
Very comfortable, nice fit and good looking. Would be 5 stars except for the laces that will not stay tied. If you walk you will be tying your shoes every half mile. I’ll get new laces and they’ll be great.

Shoe Tongue Too Long and Stiff
I bought these about 4 months ago because my years on favorite Traverse Trail Shoes had been discontinued. Naturally I used up every last drop of my final pair of Traverse Trails before switching over to these shoes a few days ago. They are very irritating to the front of my leg. I've cooked up a few work arounds while I try to decide whether to toss them out and look elsewhere, or hope they break in. I can fold back the shoe tongue, and when I'm not wearing them, I'm trying to curl that tongue up and back with binder clips. I think I noticed this when I tried them on, but it took a 5-mile morning walk to hammer it home...

Excellent for wearing every day even in bad weathe
I bought these a year or two ago in-store and they quickly became my go-to shoes for... basically everything! They look nice enough for going out to a restaurant (assuming it's not black tie level dining) and for casual office wear, yet hold up well for walking the dog in bad weather and New England ice. For me the fit of 10½ M was perfect, and the overall cushioning keeps your feet and back comfortable throughout the day. Easy to maintain, I periodically applied leather protection to them to keep the water or snow from seeping in, and they easily clean up if I got dust, dirt or mud on them. I'm about to buy an identical pair because the soles are wearing down (again, after near daily usage for a year or more) but the upper section still looks great. If I could, I'd just get them re-soled; I don't think that's an option though, but I have no complaints at all.

Poor Quality
This shoe quickly fell apart. The sole has separated at the tow after 3 months of use
