not what I was expecting...
The pants fit good, very comfortable; the pockets are different- I should have looked closer- but I've grown to like them. The first thing I did was to cut off the hammer loop. I worked in construction for over 35 years as a tile setter but now I am retired- 13 years- and don't need a hammer loop. Plus my wife says it looks dorky. My biggest issue is the button fly, especially when I need to go bad. If I had known it had a button fly, I would not have gotten them.

Hate the Button Fly!
I have been a LL Bean customer for many years. Have always been very pleased with their product quality.
However - Let me add to the list of negative reviews for these jeans. Like the most of the other reviewers with negative comments, I do NOT like the button fly. Very tough to use.
Not sure Why LL Bean decided on a button fly design, but it makes these jeans just about useless.

Great jeans at a great price
People are trashing these jeans in other reviews, it I have not had that experience. These jeans fit wonderfully; some of the other heritage jeans sit below the waist. These fit well, appear well made, and after multiple washes, they are still In great condition. They look great and feel great to wear.

Good and bad.
The fit was perfect, true to size, very comfortable...BUT...it has a button fly instead of the usual zipper. It does not have this fact in the description, you have to scroll down the page and click on the "Additional Features" tab to see that. And the button closure was smaller than the buttons. Returned for a refund.

No mention in ad that they were button fly
Very disappointed with my shipment today, I’m used to LL Bean being upfront and was looking forward to receiving these, wish I had read the reviews where other people had mentioned the button fly. Also, it was disappointed when I read about how thin the denim was. What happened to LL Bean quality from the pass? Still an LL Bean fan. I’ll just pay more attention to the ad and reviews before ordering. .

Last purchase!
You closed your store in Overland Park, Kansas and I had to use my balance so I had to purchase items to cover my amount plus what the shipping fee so I am sure it is the last time I will ever buy from you. Over my life time I have purchased many items hr you by going to the store and making a purchase. Some of the items I still have go back over 60 years that I still have but not having a store close to me I well probably never make a purchase. Many people here agree with me.

Great Jeans!
Great jeans! Among the best I've owned! Loved the cut, fit, and especially the pocket design. Hadn't see the pockets cut like that in decades! Refreshing to see them again, like a long lost friend. Great fit, loose but a flattering silhouette. I will buy these jeans again!

Really comfortable, very poor quality
I’ve purchased two pairs in the last year, love the fit, my wife was very pleased also. Afrrr two washes and about 20 days wearing the first pair the back left pocket ripped open. I thought possibly I had caught them on something so ordered a second pair. After one washing and about 10 days wearing the second pair there’s now a hole in the same spot. The denim on these is extremely thin and essentially won’t last. Don’t buy them if you expect to own a pair of jeans more than 3 months.
