The ultrawarm, Sherpa-lined Scotch Plaid flannel shirt. Our warmest lined shirt combines two favorites in one - legendary Scotch Plaid flannel and soft Sherpa fleece.
      Size & Fit
      • Slightly Fitted: Relaxed through the chest and sleeve, with a slightly slimmer waist.
      Why We Love It
This incredibly comfortable layer combines two favorites - flannel and fleece. We started with our premium Portuguese flannel, known for its warmth, softness and long-lasting color. Then we added a layer of textured Sherpa fleece to make it toasty warm and unbeatably cozy.
      Fabric & Care
      • Portuguese flannel is 100% cotton; sherpa lining is 100% polyester.
      • Garment washed for over 20 minutes for an extra-soft feel.
      • Flannel is expertly brushed for softness and yarn-dyed for long-lasting color.
      • Machine wash and dry.
      Additional Features
      • Midweight 5.5 oz flannel.
      • Taffeta-lined sleeves for easy layering.
      • Snap front placket.
      • Two front pockets with snaps.
      • Side pockets with soft lining.
Men's Sherpa-Lined Scotch Plaid Shirt, Slightly Fitted is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 170.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Slips on and Off Easily I bought this shirt in a small for my son. He needed a medium which I ordered and he is now happily wearing. It was so attractive, warm and comfortable that I kept the small for myself. I'm a 5'4" 115 lb. woman. I wear it with the cuffs folded up. It's easy to get on and off because the sleeves are quilted, not fuzzy sherpa. My son and I wear these shirts in the house instead of sweaters. Our thermostat is set at 64 degrees during the day, 67 degrees in the evening and overnight it's set at 60 degrees. It's best to wear it with a long sleeve shirt underneath because the quilted sleeves do feel cold on bare arms.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Booooo Taffeta sleeves Boooo! I have the fleece lined flannel and I love it, its soft and warm. I Did not read the part where this said it has taffeta lined sleeves. I just want to wear a t shirt under this but the sleeves are the opposite of soft and I have a feeling they will not breathe well at all. I will give it points for being beautiful and fitting superbly, I got it in the same size I get my flannel shirts large tall and it fits extremely well, it’s not too bulky or baggy. However, it fits so well that I can probably only get away with using it as a shirt. I would order this a size or 2 up if you want to use it as a jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A home run! I bought this shirt/jacket for one of my teen sons who requested a lined flannel shirt for Christmas. He wears it as an over shirt/jacket. Another son liked it after seeing his brother’s and we bought a second one for him in a different color. He’s in college and wears it around campus, also as a jacket of sorts. Based on how often I see them wearing it, I’d say the shirts are a hit. They wash well. Both boys are about 5’9 or 10” and slim. (~145-150 lbs). The medium fits both boys as an over “jacket” without being too tight or too bulky. They usually wear them partly unsnapped if they have a shirt underneath (more as a style - they could snap them if they wanted to).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Long time user of lined Bean shirts To say that I love Bean lined shirts would be an understatement. I wear them inside and outside, as outer jackets or under another coat. This one is like the previous ones I have worn out. I love the plaid design and the fact that Bean is not putting fleece in the sleeves is a blessing. Just try getting your Chamois shirt arm into a fleece-line sleeve. But fleece on the torso part is great. There is one problem. It only has one snap on the sleeve cuffs. The sleeves are a little long for this gnome so the second snap is needed. A second snap would have gotten the fifth star.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beware of Poor Sizing Over the last few years I've found that LL Bean's sizing is no longer reliable. I ordered a Large, which is what I've always worn, and this shirt is NOT slightly fitted, as described, but so loose it doesn't protect from the wind. This shirt is obviously Extra Large, not the Large I ordered -- though it's label says it's a large. It's a drag to have to keep returning LL Bean items. Do be aware that due to the fleece lining, the shirt does not tuck into one's regular-sized pants. Even though it's cut with a shirt tail, I think most folks would need to wear it more like a jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Great Shirt Impressive: the elbos are reinforced (didn't expect that) and the shirt did not shrink after machine drying; expected it would. The pocket pattern blends perfectly with the pattern of the shirt. LL Bean shirts are reliably loose fitting; the shirt description "slightly fitted" means the shirt fits as one would expect a small/ med/ large to fit a small/ med/ large person; no layering under this shirt. And layering is not necessary, the shirt is wonderfully warm. As one person noted the breast pockets would only improve with greater depth and flaps to hold a cell phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent quality and cozy The quality is excellent as most LLBeane products are. Things that I appreciate: snaps rather than buttons, cozy side pockets and two adequate sized chest pockets with snaps, and one final cue to the precision in construction is the shirt pattern is followed through with both chest pockets matching the pattern. For me, there is one negative: the sleeves are approximately 1" too long, or to be fair, perhaps my arms are shorter than normal...yet I don't normally encounter this problem. I choose to take the high road, and give this item 5 stars.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very poor sizing Strange review because I do recommend the product while I am rating it poorly -- allow me to explain. The shirt/coat is a great idea and a nice product of good quality. I ordered 2, large shirts and they were in my opinion 2XL. I later ordered a medium and found that it's perfect. It will be the only medium garment that I have worn in the past 30 years. The description calls the product slightly fitted which is misleading. The size chart is off by 6 inches in the chest on both the large and the medium and 1 inch in the sleeves (in both cases the garment is larger than the size chart indicates.) I like to wear athletic fit or modern fit and I would say these are loose fit in the extreme. Buy the product, but get it a size down if you're a lean build. A heavier or stockier build should stick to the true size and it will be a little loose.
