Well worth it
The tall/large size is a perfect fit for me. These shirts also wash beautifully and seem to last forever. I have them in every color! They do cost more than the ones you can get elsewhere but they are well worth it.

Cheap quality compared to past versions of shirt
I have bought these several times over the past few years and, while the fit is still the same, the material is considerably thinner and a cheaper grade, compared to the far thicker and higher quality polos of identical name purchased previously . Very disappointed that the quality is now on par with a polo from any other provider - not up to LL Bean standards and reflects poorly on the brand. Shortsighted, profit driven move on their part; will look elsewhere for future purchases. A shame.

prone to stains
I"m not sure what it is about these shirts but they are prone to stains and I have had to throw away many of them b/c i could not get stains out. they run a little big but feel quality. if not for staining i would highly recommend.

Classic cotton polo shirt
I've had a cotton knit polo shirt like this that I've worn for I don't know how many years. Over that time it's broken in beautifully, and even though slightly faded at the collar, it still looks and feels good. A great summer shirt. This new one I bought from L.L. Bean looks to be of the same high quality and comfort. Very happy to have found it.
