Excellent Coat
This coat is well made. It fits fine and is comfortable. I bought it for casual wear but it looks so good, I’m wearing it most places. I’m glad I bought it. In the unlikely event that it wears out, I’ll buy it again.

Great everyday jacket.
This is the second Field coat I have owned. The first was from a competitor and the coat was disappointing to say the least. The Bean coat is tough, warm and will wear like iron, if you need a hard use coat or want something to wear around town the Bean coat delivers.

Good coat for moderate cold
This is not a coat for arctic cold but it performs well for mild winters. The sleeves are nylon lined and so slide and off fairly easily. Outside, it has lower pockets on top of its pockets, which works well and provides lots of storage. Construction is ver good.

Love it.
I love this jacket. It's thick, but not bulky, and incredibly warm. The removable liner will come in handy in the spring months, I'm sure.

These are the best field jackets out there.
These Field Coats are awesome. Over the years I have purchased eight (8) of these coats. Currently I have three (3) of them use: flannel sewed-in lining, flannel button-in lining and wool button-in lining.

Who knew from
Didn't know I was so trendy.....
I am still wearing my women's field coat that I purchased over 20 years ago. I have been complemented too many times to count including today. Usually it is a 20 something who likes it. They love the color and can't believe that extra buttons are provided inside the coat. I have the burgundy color. Bring the women's original field coat back! You have a market in young customers. I would only purchase the original field coat. It's worth the money.

Please make a women’s version of this jacket
Please make a women’s version of this jacket, with all the exact quality and details you have for this men’s jacaket, with nothing less. I’m disappointed to find that you have no women’s equivalent of this classic jacket, and the one that looks close enough isn’t for practical/field use. Women need practical jackets and large pockets too. If the smallest size in men isn’t so large on me, I’d just get the men’s jacket.
