My husband's second Baxter Parka.
This is quality outerwear. My husband didn't want anything else to replace his old one, just another one.

Trash
Paper thin fabric not warm at all. Adjustable waist is way too high up, lets all the wind in, cords don't stretch like the old one gives a bad seal. Sleeves too short. Cheap pockets not warm or lined. Wool is cheap and scratchy. Not a parka in the slightest, way too short and not warm at all. Old one was much longer same size.

Great quality, fits slightly larger than expected
I am 5' 9'' and 170 lbs. I ordered a large, having been told that the fit is a bit more snug. I find that it's a little larger than I expected. The drawstring in the inner waistband is great for cinching in, but I will need to really layer underneath to fill out the jacket. I would have returned for a medium but none were available.

Took what I could get to replace my 30 year model
Wish it was the same quality as the 82 model, and had inside packet and no PFAS

Bought out of nostalgia
Like other reviewers I must say there has been a falling off in quality to this article since 1982 (when I first bought one) The wool lining feels a bit thinner and the lack of an inside pocket is a real loss. But since it's all that is available (my old one is fraying at the cuffs, after 30 years) To avoid the 'slightly fitted ' in description I ordered a size up, and that will work. As for recommending it to others I might say, wait and see if it is re-introduced in more color choices and an inside pocket.

I bought it on sale in July. Looks great, but I haven't worn it yet.

Nice green!
Great green color. I’m 5’10”, 156 lbs and the med fits great. I wear a size 40 suit jacket and have a 32” waist. It’s 91° outside so I haven’t worn it except to try it on. My only criticism is that the Velcro on the sleeves isn’t very strong, but it’s workable. Nice jacket!
