Super Seam® Technology creates a stitchless, superstrong seam that makes for a lighter, more flexible and totally leakproof boot-foot wader.
    Why We Love It
Super Seam® Technology replaces standard stitches with a powerful super adhesive, creating stronger seams that greatly reduce the chances of a leak. These stitchless seams are 32% stronger than conventional waders and 49% stronger than a leading competitor's. It helps us build a lighter, more flexible and leakproof wader that you'll find super-comfortable. Vibram Idrogrip outsole provides exceptional grip on wet rocks, slime and moss.
    Construction
    • Made from shell material that's more durable from knee to ankle, a high-wear area.
    • Light-stretching QuickFit wading belt is super easy and fast to use.
    • Roomy enough to accommodate warm layers.
    • The upper features a four-layer material that's breathable and abrasion resistant.
    • 400-gram 3M™ Thinsulate™ Insulation in boots keeps your feet warm.
    • Vibram Idrogrip outsole features sticky rubber for excellent grip.
    • Breathable, waterproof polyester shell fabric.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaks This is the third pair of waders I've used. Everyone of them leak. The first two leaked immediately. I got sick of waiting for replacements so I tried sticking it out with this third pair so I used Aquaseal to plug it whenever it sprung a leak. Every outing is like playing a game of wack a mole. You seal it and sure enough a new leak springs. I've literally gone through 2 tubes of Aquaseal for a handful of outings but it's leaking from somewhere in the actual boot now and I cant locate it as much as I try to plug it. I like LLBEAN but for $300 the quality should be better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaky Waders I very satisfactorily use LLBean for most of my clothing and fishing etc. based on long experience....but waders: not any longer ! Two pair and both leaked very prematurely.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Oustanding I've owned allot of waders over the years. Some cheap. Some more expensive. These are by far the best. Boots are true to size , comfortable and "grippy". Fit of the large size is excellent for my short & stout frame . Very light weight so they don't bother my aging back. I love the integrated belt and suspender sysem. So far, I have a dozen days in these in a mix of cold, warm and salt water. NO LEAKS. I have to wonder if some of the other reviewers got hold of a faulty batch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good! Have worn the Emerger Waders on about 5 occasions so far - all salt water and so far they are performing great, very comfortable. I like the built in cinch belt with Velcro adjustments as well as the inside and outside pockets for dry storage of keys/phone, etc. Hope I don't have the leaking experience that other reviewers have had!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from disappointed with the quality I bought wader in advance because I know when the striped bass migration is in the season it is almost impossible to get wader in your size. I had an LLBean stocking waders, but after one beach trip I give up because the sand was getting into the boots and the guard that is supposed to keep the sand out was pretty much useless. Kudo to LLBean after consult with their customer service they exchange for this booted wader. I use this wader for fall-run out in the front (ocean side). They are very comfortable, they do have some dampness in the feet but I was not in the water a lot so it did not bother me that much. This spring started in April. I started explorer the back bay of NJ and was in the water in every trip. This wader just did not hold up. I got wet in every trip. The boots just gets soaking wet after an hour or two. It just got too cold for me to be in the water. I have gone through a stick of 3m 5200 sealant. And I still find a small leak after every trip. The workmanship/ design on this wader is of very poor quality. The seams start to develop leaks the strips that cover stitches is too narrow start to break down and cause leaks after very little usage. I would patch one and others area of leak will show up. So far this year I have only used it 4 to 6 times (I can only fishing on the weekend) and it has 100% leaked on every trip. To fix this you will pretty much need to reseal every join and stitches because soon or later they will develop a leak. I would assume at this price point and the LL Bean name the quality should have been better. I can only fish on the weekend so this is not used commercially. Last night was the last straw I just had enough. I am tired of patching and look for new leaks. I am very disappointed in this wader, save your money look for other brand or other model.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Waders I own the stocking foot version of these Waders and have been using them for 2 years with no issues. Figured I’d get a pair for the beach to just wash off sand quickly once done fishing. Ive worn them a dozen times already with no issue. They fit great..I’m a size 10 shoe and these leave a nice 1/2inch in the boot for some warm socks, no leaks, and so happy with the purchase it’s such an easier clean up when I get home.
