Rated 5 out of 5 by activeoutdoorsylady from BETTER THAN EXPECTED This jacket has been worn daily--winter now in the mts, NY state. Did a comparison today at 20 degrees with wind, walking a mile same place and pace each time .First wearing a vest with a 650 down jacket on top--was not warm enough. Then changed to an 800 down jacket, was warmer. Last wore this Primaloft puffer...and was hot by the time I got back (and temp had dropped)!!! Wow..Also this jacket is a bit longer, love that! Have no zipper or quality issues, so got another in a different color.! Bring on the cold, have enough room to layer if below 0.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BeanChef from Amazing jacket for Upstate NY This jacket arrived a day before temperatures finally went below 0 , and it was basically perfect timing. I’m amazed by how warm and lightweight this jacket is. I’ve worn only a long sleeve shirt underneath it in temperatures under 10 degrees and I didn’t feel any wind or cold air, and was shocked by how warm the jacket kept me. I love the style and the hood is so well designed , I would recommend this to anyone who wants an alternative to down or anyone who’s looking for a great winter coat. 5 stars all day, great product from a great company!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Ryan from Poor Quality This product, while very warm and well-insulated, was shipped to me with a defective zipper that could not zip all the way up without getting stuck on the inner fabric. Additionally, this product is full of loose threads and the cuffs are fraying after just one week of gentle use. There are definitely better jackets for the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bill from good coat good coat fits well. this coat seems to be well made. it should stand up well for years. I swear it every day. it is light, but it keeps me warm, even on a cold day about 20 o out. easy to clean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice from Great warmth and fit I really liked this jacket! I did have the Heater Primaloft jacket and this is similar. The warmth and quality construction and fit is great. Two features that The Heater jacket had that this doesn't, and would be nice, are the zippered outer chest pocket, which is very handy for phones, and the additional waterproof material on the shoulders and sleeves.

Rated 5 out of 5 by tirsden from Fits nice and the purple is purty Firstly, I'm female with a lot going on in the chest area, and this still fit very well. Based on the sizing chart I guessed an XL would be comfortably roomy but not too big, and that is indeed how it fits. I was debating on the "green" versus the purple for a while as the green one looked more aquamarine/turquoise in some pictures, and more green in others. Glad I went with purple, as the green is definitely more on the green end of the spectrum. I'd call it forest green that has an aquamarine cousin. From what I'm guessing, the trim of one jacket type is the main color for the other, so if you're wondering what color the "green" jacket actually is, there ya go.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RIres from Surprisingly warm I've worn a LL Bean's winter parka for years. Bulky and heavy as a sleeping bag, I was NEVER cold. The puffer jacket, is light as a feather, very comfortable, and quite warm enough for most New England winter days.

Rated 3 out of 5 by JR3000 from Great for temps 50-30 degrees This is not a jacket for harsh winters. Maybe cold fall days but not frigid temps. The jacket runs a little large. The construction of the jacket could be better but not the worst.
