Rated 5 out of 5 by OrangeOkie from Perfect Fit - Perfect Application "Fleece Wader Pants" accurately describes these useful and well made pants. I was looking for something light weigh, comfortable, with insulatory qualities against cold water stream fishing. These pants ft the bill. They are even perfect for lounging around the house in the morning, drinking a cup of coffee. One of the main features that sold me on giving them a try was the stirrup that keeps your pants from riding up as you don your waders. Perfect solution for me. Good value. These feel like they will last many many years. As for the perfect fit, I ordered the XX Long and I am 6'3" 270 pounds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ohiotuber from MORE than advertised! I ordered 2 pair during the 30%off & free shipping deal. Had I known what I was getting, I would have ordered FIVE pair! The stirrups are wide & you don't even know they are there. The fleece is very comfortable, warm, & soft. In addition to the zip rear pocket, there are 2 front pockets, & the waist is a nice drawstring. I am 5'8" & wear a 38/30 Wrangler Jeans & they fit snug. These size L are neither baggy nor snug...a perfect fit that would easily fit a 6 footer. I read reviews of guys using them as PJ pants..I will use them under waders & other garments in cold weather, PJ pants, & lounging. I can't speak for durability as I just got them, but these are a bargain at full price. I will definitely buy more! Mike

Rated 4 out of 5 by oohlala from Fleece Pants Loved the pants. 5' 7", 32" inseam and 140#. The small regulars fit great. Extremely happy wading/fly fishing with then in winter March weather. Used about 10 times and noted a few small holes at the seam along the buttock region. Always use the pants with my waders. Of course, Bean was prompt with sending me a new pair of fleece. With warmer weather they won't get as frequent of use now, but will update (re: the durability of these pants)later if possible. If the new pants don't have any early durability issues, I will very highly recommend these and will buy another pair. 5 stars except for the holes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by bigfishinoregon from BEST SO FAR I purchased a new pair of expensive waders and the manufacturer recommended NOT wearing dungarees. So I shopped around and purchased 4 pairs to try out. One pair already sent back due to poor stirrup design. The remaining three pair I have worn a few times. LLBEAN has the best stirrup design. Foot always easily passes through and latches to the stirrup. The pockets are as good as you can get. Two side and one back pocket. The fleece material keeps me warm and dry out here in Oregon during winter fishing. They wash great. Only improvement would be in the waist area. The little grabber on the waist cord slips too easily. I'd prefer more elastic and get rid of the cord / grabber.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AskTheGuide from Men's Fleece Wader Pants These wader pants are the bomb! I have tried other wader systems in the past, i.e. wool pants, fleece pants, etc., but when I found these with with the attached stirups (for the price LLBean offered), I didn't have to think about it very long. Other companies offer a similar wader pant, but at double the price. These pants are the perfect weight to insulate your lower body inside breathable waders. In fact, check out my pictures and video. I'm wearing a pair of LLBean breathable waders with these fleece pants. It's all about comfort. Barry Professional Guide and Fly Fishing Instructor Riverview Outdoor Adventures & Clinics

I fish freshwater as well as salt ...and to wear these pants under my breathables is a wonderful thing!! I am a 5'2 female and the small mens size fit great! I also use them under my snowpant when working or hiking outside... They are very comfortable the stirrups keep them from riding up .. The pants themselves are not tight nor baggy..it is so nice to wear fleece with pockets!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wavingastick from Problem Solved These wader pants solve the problem of painful pressure points on the ankle caused by bulky stirrup seams (the seam connecting the pant leg to the strap that goes under your foot. Stiff wader boots press on the stirrup seams of many wader pants such that after a couple hours in the river the pain at the pressure point becomes unbearable. Bean appears to have solved that problem by reducing the size of the seam to a relatively flat, thin line. I've spent as many as eight hours in a tightly tied, stiff Simms boot and a tight gravel guard and didn't feel and discomfort. My ankles thank the wader pant designers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by OttoSyracuse from They are NOT "pajama" pants The fleece is a much tighter weave than PJ pants, and I think will do a much better job of wicking sweat away. I'd only like to see a better system for cinching the top belt area tight. It doesn't seem that the cord and plastic stop will keep them up and not drooping. I don't think it will be a problem when I get my waders on because they are nice and snug, but walking around town, etc may pose a problem. Despite that, I believe they will be excellent under my waders and a lot more comfortable than a pair of jeans, and more substantial than a pair of long underwear.
