Equally soft and durable, these pants are an abrasion-resistant, moisture-wicking blend of cotton and polyester with spandex that stretches with every move, yet won't stretch out of shape. Comfy enough for everyday but technical enough to perform on every adventure.

Great for Travel
Of all the leisure/athletic pants available from LL Bean and elsewhere, these are the best. The fabric is ripstop but it is also somewhat stretchy. Other features I like are front and rear zippered pockets and a zipper fly front. Super comfortable and great for travel!

I Own 7 Pairs of These, If That Says Anything
I've replaced nearly all of my sweats / joggers with the Comfort Waist Ripstops. They're comfortable, stretchy, and versatile enough to wear anywhere -- whether it's the gym or a business casual setting. The fabric is indeed durable and gets better with wear.
I will offer two words of advice / caution:
1) The fabric of pockets is a bit thin and flimsy when compared to the pants themselves, so they may tear with enough force or from carrying a sharp object. Make sure those pocketknives are closed, kids.
2) These run big in the waist (plus they stretch). I normally buy joggers in a L or XL, but I get these in a Medium. For reference, I'm 6'2, 225 lbs, with a 34" inch waist (before Thanksgiving).
