Very good while I had it
The belt was very well made and the length was great. The downside is that TSA had me remove it along with my other belongings to go through the scanner, and I didn’t realize that it was not among those items when the tray came out the other side.

Not too great. Overpriced.
The belt is made well, I guess, but the leather is pretty thin. I have no doubt that it will wear out prematurely as a result. I feel like it is overpriced and does not live up to LLBean quality.

“Genuine leather, not “full grain leather”
LL Bean did a little bait and switch with this product. I was looking for full grain leather belt, but this belt says “genuine leather” when I received it. That’s a big difference in leather. False advertising. Genuine leather is a cheaper product. I am mad at this and can’t trust LL Bean going forward in their description of products.

Braided leather - for a perfect fit every time
This Essential Braided Belt is made of fine supple leather, and the braided leather allows for a perfect fit every time.
In essence, it is the highest quality leather and best belt that is adjustable that I have ever had. The braiding lets you snug it up so it is just right.
I don't have many contours, and this belt keeps my pants from sliding down.
I've always wanted a braided belt, and this EBB was the first one that has this high of quality. Works Great!
