L.L.Bean Packlite Chair is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 22.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pak-Lite Chair The chair itself is excellent. The rubber feet (4 per chair) come off accidentally, and if you aren't aware, you may lose a foot every time you use the chair. We used them at the beach and after the first use, we found, when we got home, that one of the feet was missing. Even though we were aware of this problem and paying attention, we lost 2 more feet. We're trying to figure out how to jerry-rig the feet for a fix - Gorilla Glue perhaps. No replacement feet available from LLBean

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Packlite Chair A comfy little camp chair that doesn’t take up a lot of space in my car when packed. It’s heavier than similar chairs from other companies, but it’s more stable and also less expensive. I would never take a chair backpacking anyway, so I don’t really care about the weight. Might be improved with a small mesh pocket on the outside for holding a book or something.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not for me It seems like a good chair which is why I gave it 4 stars. However the description says it is 16 inches high. It isn't it is 14. I specifically purchased it because it was 16 and at 14 I can't get up out of it on a hard surface let alone dirt. I so wish it was 16 as advertised.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable Very comfortable and lightweight. The darker material is more like a canvas so it is very sturdy, while the inner part is a breathable mesh. Lots of compliments from other people on how easy it was to setup/teardown.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seems about the same as my Helinox chair at half p This chair seems to perform every bit as well as my much more expensive Helinox chair. It's just as comfortable, perhaps slightly easier to set up, and only a few ounces heavier. I can deal with the slight additional weight to save $40 - $50.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for field photography I do photography for sporting events, and often need to be low. This allows me to do that comfortably, and out of the way of people behind me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding chair! I have purchased 2 of these chairs and have absolutely no negative comments! I actually lose a foot to one of the chairs and LLB and Packlite both worked quickly to send me replacement parts at no cost. I would highly recommend this chair. It is light, packable, durable, and very comfortable after a long day of hiking.
