Rated 1 out of 5 by Tooskinny from Wishing you still had the old style glasses I lost my last pair of the thinner, comfortable-but-snug-fitting multi-sport sunglasses. Broke my heart. To my chagrin, these new-style sunglasses are clunky on my face and too large, even though I ordered the medium frame. Somehow, I got a scratch on one of the lenses in the first week I owned them in 2017. I use them now just for bicycle riding, but they are not staying on my face the same way the others did. I won't use them at all by the end of the year. I will find a pair that fit and hope I don't scratch them. I don't blame LL Bean. Some products just don't make it ... like these sunglasses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LLBeanStLouis from Great glasses, larger lens I have 2 pair of the previous version, which have smaller lenses and look a bit more stylish; I like them better. However, in my opinion this new version with larger lenses is more practical for the main purpose, which is to provide sun protection during sports. Since I keep several pairs around, it's good to have one with a bit more coverage now. The website has 4 pictures of it, and the most accurate view of the new size is the straight-on picture of the lenses, not the pics from the side.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ALtoCO from Nice shades I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because these are not the same Smith sunglasses that I have worn from LLBean for the past 15 years or so. I was hoping to just continue purchasing the same Mulitsports, but they evidently aren't available anymore. The main difference is that this pair is a little heavier duty. They sit harder on the bridge of the nose and I get fatigued wearing them. The bulkier feel will translate to greater durability, I am sure. The frame is also a little larger, giving better shade to the eyes, but again, a bulkier feel. All in all, I think these will work out fine, but don't expect that sleek, light-as-a-feather feel of the old polarized Smiths.

Rated 2 out of 5 by McPoonster from The old multi sport glasses were great, these meh I go through lots of sun glasses by just losing them or sitting on them and the old glasses were great. Stylish and functional, not too grandpa's style, not too Crocket and Tubbs. I loved them and bought 3 pairs. The new multi sport sun glasses lenses are too big. Somewhere between Bono Achtung Baby big and mom super market check out line sunglasses big. I'm forlorn. Bring back the old model! My 10 year old daughter makes fun of me when I wear them. So there's that....

Rated 2 out of 5 by karolus from what happened to the old multisport sunglasses? I have worn the L.L. Bean multisport sunglasses for years. I ordered a new pair last week without realizing that the design and size has changed. The glasses are oversized now, even in the small/medium that I ordered. They are going back. Very disappointing that the old smaller style is no longer available.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hellhound94 from Great Sunglasses! This is my third pair of these sunglasses over a several-year period. They have proven to be my "old reliables, my go-to sunglasses." They do what they're supposed to do, the lenses don't fall out, they clean up easily, and they never break. They are not dainty! I'm sure I'll buy another pair next year!

Rated 5 out of 5 by WuZZup from Lightweight seem sturdy I've come to trust LL Bean's sunglasses. This is just my third pair in about five years. Like many others I need quality all-arounder-sunglasses. So far I be been buying nonRX shades. The pair that thes ones replaced were extremely durable and the fit was spectacular, so I was skeptical about these replacements especially because they awere 1/3 the price. So far so good I m happy with them

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pepe from Best I lost my first pair, thankfully they were inexpensive for what you get at $50 ,so I got it I have a another pair now. They are as good if not better than my Ray Bans, Maui Jim’s, or Oakley’s I’ve had in the past, Highly recommend !
