Great Jacket for children
We have purchased multiple of this rain jacket. They are well made, perfect for New England fall weather. It looks like LLBean is discontinuing this product, this is unfortunate as they are a great product.

Thoughtful Design, Durable Construction
The Trail Model Lined Rain Jacket is a favorite among my grandsons. I have bought several lined & unlined over the past decade. The boys say the thin fleece lining feels cozy & they prefer it to the rain jackets. 5 stars for maintaining consistent high quality construction and thoughtful design for this product.

It was the TEX-2 material that I know is waterproof. I bought it for a 6yr old girl who is average height and weight. The 6/8 was waaaay to big for her. As a 74ys old woman of average weight 120lbs, and 5" 1' I could wear it.
If you want the child to wear this jacket for a few years buy their regular size. I think they will be able to wear it for a few years.

Versatile Jacket
I bought this jacket for myself in an XL. The fit is good for me. I'm 5'1", 112 pounds. It works great for rainy morning dog walks. My only complaint is the fleece lining in the sleeves makes it hard to get my arms through and the lining tends to bunch up at my wrists.
