This is the perfect rod for tight streams . It casts like a larger rod and though a smaller 4wt , has handled larger trout and bass without breaking .it's finish level is beautiful for the price.

Ideal small stream trout rod
I bought this for fishing small native brook trout streams here in PA and it seems to be an ideal rod for such purposes. My first time using it I had excess tippet on the furled leader and once I shortened it to 7’ my casting accuracy significantly improved. The rod seems well made, looks great and is lightweight. Probably the only criticism I have is that I don’t care much for the feel of the cork handle compared to my other premium rods.
