Rated 5 out of 5 by MSY65 from Great Sheets at a Great Price I am picky - I want nice sheets but don't want to break the budget to purchase them. I've been buying these sheets for several years - they are cool in summer, thanks to the percale weave. I put them in the dryer on damp dry and then carefully fold so there are no wrinkles around the edges and drape them over the ironing board. They are usually dry in an hour or two and often I don't have to press the edges to have a nice, neat sheet. The sheets last longer than other brands that I've purchased at a similar price and much longer than no-iron sheets that have polyester in them. The New York TImes recently recommended these sheets as their best value for the quality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SWFMR from Incorrect dimensions on website The dimensions for queen flat sheet as posted on the LL Bean site are INCORRECT. I received my sheets this weekend and the actual dimensions of the flat sheet are 96" wide by 104" long. Those are both the dimensions printed on the card that came with the order as well as the measurements I took. In addition, these are definitely warm-weather sheets. They are smooth and comfortable to the touch, but at the high altitude where I live (7000 feet) I need to add a blanket to prevent getting chilled. The fitted sheet fits over my deep mattress. Glad to see that manufacturers are at last starting to keep up with the trend for deeper mattresses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Grandwaffle from Some of the best ever! I do love these sheets! I chose them over a similar brand because of the more generous measurements plus better price. They're light, smooth and cool. Thank you for the tag on the fitted sheet noting the long side: with elastic all the way around that's been a perennial struggle. The pillowcases had hems on both sides--a sign of quality. I waited to rate the set until the first wash because I know being 100% cotton I'd want to iron them. They laundered beautifully~still a lovely hand, and the side edges of the flat sheet came out flat without puckering. So ironing was a breeze. But folks who don't iron will be happy, too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by FloridianXXX from Nice, but not as crisp as I'd hoped I'm a percale sheet lover and have some high-end sheet sets. These sheets are nice and thick, and very smooth, but they lack a certain crispness that I've found in some of my other sheets. In my estimation they fall somewhere between crisp percale and sateen in terms of "drape" and crispness. I line-dry my sheets and then iron the pillow cases, and that usually gives me "maximum crispness", but these sheet just have more "drape" than my favorite percales. They're pretty thick, and that's a plus. They're not bad, but I don't think they'll be my favorites. The search for "crispness" continues!

Rated 2 out of 5 by ABC123DoReMe from Odd feel to these sheets--don't like at all I bought these sheets because I read such good reviews and I have to say I am mystified as to why they're so popular. Could they have changed? It is hard for me to describe how they feel. My daughter described them as scratchy, but to me it feels like there's some kind of strange coating on them. It is not a nice crisp feel, or a nice soft feel--it's different from any other sheet I've felt, high- or low-end. After two months, they do feel better, but not good. They were for my kids, who said they didn't mind enough for me to send them back (that's why I gave two stars rather than one), but if they had been for my bed, I would have returned them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Milpy from DO NOT BUY – Itchy and Rough We purchased this sheet set after much research and review reading and were extremely disappointed. My husband had to remove the sheets in the middle of the night just to try to get some rest. These sheets are crisp and itchy, not luxurious and soft like we wanted. We understood that pima cotton is a type with extra-long fibers, I just didn’t realize I’d feel those fibers crawl across my face like insects when my cheek slid across the pillowcase. We tried the “hack” of washing with a vinegar rinse, but nothing could get that sandpaper feel out of the sheets. I wish we would have spent more time reading the 1 and 2 star reviews.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Suse from Perfect Crisp Feel! I've been looking for sheets that feel crisp for a long time. Reviews indicated that these were the ones so I finally took the plunge. I can only say I wish I hadn't waited so long! These feel like the sheets I grew up with--as if they've been laundered and pressed--instead of the limp sheets that seem to have taken over in the more recent quest for high thread counts. Not only do they feel great, the hems at the top and on the pillow cases hold their shapes and don't look like they need to be ironed. The only thing that could make these sheets better is if they were made in the USA instead of China! Thanks, LLBean!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Lucy11 from Better Than Most These sheets are not the same quality as I've ordered in past years and I was thinking of returning them, until I tried some other brands. Apparently sheet material and construction, like so many other things, has gone downhill since I last purchased. After comparing other sheets, these are less rough and more substantial than most, though a little pricey. I brought them on sale. They also come with some type of slick coating which I removed by washing them with baking soda and rinsing with vinegar in the final rinse. After that that coating was gone. All in all, they are good quality, but not excellent.
