These sweats were a disappointment.
This is the first time that I have not been happy with my purchase from LL Bean. The size and fit is not consistent with other products from LL Bean. The sweats were much longer and the adjustment on the waist did not work properly.

Problems with waistband
Waistband is odd. Stiff, wide elastic is hard to adjust. The waist just bunches up in unattractive folds. At first I thought the waist would soften after a wash or two, but that did not happen. Today I found some black material poking out of the waistband. Disappointed in the quality.

Have 4 pair. They hold up really well, wash well over repeated washings. I personally think they have a nice drape for sweat pants. Really appreciate the tall sizing. Front pockets, yay, not very deep but ok for keys, and cautious temporary cell phone stashing.

One of the best purchases I've made
Last fall I ordered these sweatpants in two colors planning to use them for the gym. Because they are extremely comfortable and not baggy, I find myself keeping them on all day. They can double for dress knit pants, and I highly recommend them.

Perfect
Perfect weight for a Houston winter. Not too heavy. Also just right for a 70 year old woman who is retired and spends most winter days in casual clothes for volunteering, gardening, grocery shopping, cooking. The black coffee (dark brown) color means I can have an alternative to black sweat pants which limits my choice of top color and brown is this winter's color!
