For nearly 90 years, we've been making our authentic Scotch Plaid flannel shirts the way we always have: better than everyone else's. Our exclusive flannel fabric is meticulously woven with longer-staple cotton, which means the individual cotton fibers are about one-quarter inch longer than short-staple fibers, making a huge difference in fabric strength and quality. Then, it's meticulously brushed eight times on each side and given a "touch test" by a master weaver to declare it soft enough.

Tough to roll up the sleeves.
All the flannel shirts at LL Bean make it difficult to roll up the sleeves. It's not like the typical shirt. Quality is good but I won't buy another one from LL Bean.

LLB has the best flannel. Scotch plaids are my favorites (though I'm not Scottish, far as I know)..
Always look good, wash after wash. Very comfortable. Definitely will buy again.

Santa's Gift Was The Best!
I ordered three Scotch Plaid Flannel shirts for Christmas which happened to be slightly fitted. since Christmas, there has not been a day that I have not worn one of these shirts. Very, very comfortable and helps keep me warm even here in south Georgia.
