For nearly 90 years, we've been making our authentic Scotch Plaid flannel shirts the way we always have: better than everyone else's. Our exclusive flannel fabric is meticulously woven with longer-staple cotton, which means the individual cotton fibers are about one-quarter inch longer than short-staple fibers, making a huge difference in fabric strength and quality. Then, it's meticulously brushed eight times on each side and given a "touch test" by a master weaver to declare it soft enough.

Wonderful Fit!
I bought the scotch Plaid Flannel Shirt for my son, who is 6’2” tall. He requested a Tall/X-large, and said it’s a wonderful fit. He likes the fit and feel. And he asked for more in different colors.

Fabric Excessive Pilling
Fabric issues again this year. This shirt looks so nice at first, then the pilling gets severe. I follow the instructions, wash on delicate cycle, no softeners, no dryer balls, no heavy items, small load, gentle detergent, I don’t know what else to do! I wish LLB would bring back quality fabrics they used to offer. I don’t mind paying more — my husband likes to live in these shirts for 7 months of the year so it is worth it for me.
