For over 80 years, we've been making our authentic Scotch Plaid flannel shirts the way we always have: better than everyone else's. Our exclusive flannel fabric is meticulously woven with longer-staple cotton, which means the individual cotton fibers are about one-quarter inch longer than short-staple fibers, making a huge difference in fabric strength and quality. Then, it's meticulously brushed eight times on each side and given a "touch test" by a master weaver to declare it soft enough.

King of all heavyweight flannels
The king of all heavyweight flannels. I now own 4 and they are a mainstay of my wardrobe from October to April. Wear them buttoned up, or unbuttoned over a Henley or tee, or tied around the waist when Michigan does Michigan things. Love them and will always come back for more

With there being so many options for cheap flannels out there, it can make the $50 price seem high, but I assure you it’s worth every penny. The flannel is incredibly warm while being light, breathable, and blocking wind very effectively.
