Second pair same boot. I hike 3-5 miles everyday. Lasts about a year. No breakin , completely waterproof. Handles rocky terrain very well. Only issue is heal is slightly shallow but no hindrance in hiking.

Terrible On Ice
Hard to imagine worse soles for any slippery surface, no grip whatever, from I think both tread design and sole material. To replace them, I bought some LL Bean brand walking shoes for $40 less that are infinitely superior in grip on any surface. The Oboz shoes fitted fine, but there is something radically wrong with them that could easily cost a walker an injury or worse.

My Second Pair
As the Review Title suggests, I have used the Oboz Bridger Hiker as my day-in-day-out all purpose shoe for a number of years. I wore them out. If I didn't think they deserved 5-Stars, I would not have purchased them again. I'm looking forward to many more years of excellent use.

My Favorite Shoes.
My third pair of Oboz. The other two are still in great condition. I'm a 9 medium, but with Oboz, I go 9.5 wide. They are a bit narrow so consider the wide option.
