big price for a cheaply made leather belt
I bought a woven leather belt from LL Bean a few years ago, and it was great, this latest edition, not so great. It is woven with much thinner leather material, it seems very cheap, like something at a bargain store that would cost $10.

Very good while I had it
The belt was very well made and the length was great. The downside is that TSA had me remove it along with my other belongings to go through the scanner, and I didn’t realize that it was not among those items when the tray came out the other side.

Not too great. Overpriced.
The belt is made well, I guess, but the leather is pretty thin. I have no doubt that it will wear out prematurely as a result. I feel like it is overpriced and does not live up to LLBean quality.

“Genuine leather, not “full grain leather”
LL Bean did a little bait and switch with this product. I was looking for full grain leather belt, but this belt says “genuine leather” when I received it. That’s a big difference in leather. False advertising. Genuine leather is a cheaper product. I am mad at this and can’t trust LL Bean going forward in their description of products.
